Part 3 • Heritage New Hampshire...
What was it like to sail to the new world and survive here? How did NH get its start? Years ago (before Heritage NH closed) I went in with my camera and VHS camcorder to try to capture the experience of the living museum. I hadn't been in since I was a kid so I barely remembered what was there. I had no rehearsals, no lights, the sound was bad, and the battery died on the camcorder at the end. But, I haven't seen anything else on YT so at least this is something :) Maybe this will encourage someone who has a better quality video to post theirs.

Thank you so much for this! I grew up in Conway and heritage was such a big part of my childhood. I miss it so much. These videos are so nostalgic

Every trip to NH included a visit to The Heritage. We loved this place! Still have the carved wooden spoon and newspaper printed for us on the tour.

Yes, thank you so much for making this available to us all. I'm sure many more have watched it but aren't signed into You-Tube so they can't post or vote. My husband and I are preparing for a trip to New Hampshire. (We live in FL.) We first visited the area in 2006 and fell in love with it but only had two days to spend there. I always wanted to go back. I saw this 30-year-old museum advertised in my old brochures and had planned to visit it this year. I'm so disappointed to see it closed, but very grateful for your videos that my husband and I can watch. THANK YOU! You are a blessing to us all!

I had no idea this place was closed! I'm so bummed. I hadn't been here since I was a little girl and I ALWAYS loved it. Thanks for the memories.

Not sure if you;re going to see this, but this is my exact same sentiment. Can't believe they're trading in a journey through American history for an aquarium

We used to bring the kids here every year before going over to storyland. Loved it. When we heard it was closing I took tons of pics. I miss this place.

My family only had time for this place or Storyland when I was little. I chose Heritage, but I forget why now. That was a long time ago.

Thank you so much for this! I miss this, and so wish it was still open so my kids could experience it also.

I'm glad you like it. I posted it back when UA-cam had a 10-minute limit on videos, so I had to break it down into 3 separate videos. I've been considering re-uploading it with all 3 parts together now that I don't have that limit. What's your opinion on keeping it the way it is, versus re-uploading it as one big video?

I think its great as 3 videos, it cues up just fine when I click on this one, so the others don't seem to get lost, and they play back to back perfect :)

I'm so sad this place closed. I remember a school field trip here sometime between 3rd and 6th grade when I lived in N.H. Places like this were facilitating to me.

Hi, my name is Ryan and I run the channel ThemeParks&Me. I've been a fan of both Heritage and your video of Heritage for many years now. I was wondering if I could post a full complete HD version of your 3 videos on my channel. And I would definitely give you all of the credit for it. Please let me know. Thanks.

Absolutely. I'm glad people enjoy Heritage and my videos on it. Although, it's not HD. I made it before I had an HD camera.

@@TCPicturesNET That's awesome! You did an incredible job with editing of that video, incorperating the photos and sounds as well. Like I said, I'll be giving you full credit for it. I know that there are a lot of people that love and miss Heritage. Thanks again! I'll keep you updated on it!
