Hi professor an ole classmates good afternoon..
I will not support because ..we don’t have a lack of money in Jamaica…money is “wasted” to support all the “et Al’s” … I know of teachers who are getting the required outcomes without much resources….don’t be fooled that we need more technology and we need more money …just this week a principal said she achieved excellent passes without the hyped up resources used in other schools …. I believe if we even give 10% more it will still NEVER BE ENOUGH to get the job done… when will these education leaders realize that the curricula at the early childhood and primary level are FAILING OUR STUDENTS…my own child had to be homeschooled at grade 3-5 because he could not keep up with the system …there are LOTS OF CHILDREN OUT THERE LIKE MY SON …but the leaders will defend their FAILING SYSTEM…more money is not the solution….

Nuh wonder politicians do what they like … we are not holding them accountable… Mr Crawford beg you get the money the govt … dem have it .. look how much a waste on CRH .. rentals that are empty … etc etc
I am not on this bandwagon. Jamaicans are already overtaxed and very poor. And what about those who will not benefit from this plan? Use money from the funds that are illegally gained. There are many educated youths that are in crime because they are not getting good paying jobs. More businesses and better paying jobs are needed. Have some empathy for the minimum wage earners who cannot afford to purchase even a bread. Instead, tax the greedy govt and the richer class of people even 10 percent of their salaries to be used towards education.

What nutritious meal? Ruel Reid gone with the money. 30 meal options is too much on a daily basis. I think you should have a universal lunch program and your menu should be seasonal. No process food. Way to go Senator. I have 30 years experience with the NYC Office of Food and Nutrition Services.
