- This was the most interesting, engaging, entertaining match in a set of 5 games, where we tested the strength of the new reworked Sadako against Hens333 and his god squad. These games highlighted some of the issues with new Onryo, being that she can be too oppressive against weaker players yet doesn't have the capability of dealing with strong survivors. Non the less these games were extremely fun and intense!

New Onryo feels so satisfying to play. I love that she doesn't feel reliant on Ring Drawing for Condemn pressure anymore, and even with the changes to her overall style in general, it still feels like they managed to preserve her macro-styled gameplay in regards to keeping an eye on TVs and being aware of survivor locations whenever possible. I love how her presence is constantly felt even when she's not physically present. It really feels like a great fit for Ringu, thematically speaking. Very well played!
and to think there’s survivors already calling for her to get nerfed again. god forbid they learn how to interact with the killer’s power and not just try to gen rush the entire match.
It requires a coordinated SWF to counter this. Solo Queue will get destroyed every time.
@@trollingprophetNo. You need teammates that are aware and literally just pick up tapes when they become available. The reason people think this is because one bad player who goes around the map doing bones or jumping on the first gen they see and not working against the killer they play, that’s when it falls apart.
that’s mostly because many survivor players are carried. They don’t play against the killer so much as “do objective” and ignore counters, as long as they have someone else on the team to do that for them (like a hood looper who can get the killers attention, etc.) but now that every player on a team is responsible for the team doing well (the cornerstone of every team game ever) it’s too much for players who only wanted to sit on gens and maybe get a safe loop chase.
There’s almost no mental stack on the survivor side against most killers, so when a killer tends to break that and make survivors actually have to play the game in the way killers pretty much always do, micromanaging their own stacks and being smart about where to take one and what tv to turn off, all of a sudden it’s too much.

You just have to have a swf like the one in this video to stand a chance - we all know how easy that is to find 😒😒🙄🙄😭😭
@trollingprophet I've faced her a lot in solo q and she hasn't been that much of an issue. I think you are probably just really low mmr

I recommend you try this Sadako (P100) Perks: STBFL, Forced Penance, Jolt, Forced Hesitation Addons: Remote controller + Bloody Fingernail.
It is really, really really easy to 4k with this build. Funny thing about Forced Hesitation if you get hook trades the downed person slows down the unhooked survivor(even with endurance), also the person you hit is broken now, and also 20% hindered makes them slower than clown's afterpiece tonic. Funny thing is with Jolt when you get that down and gen regression with no cooldown it gets crazy with 8 stacks of save the best for last and the other person can't loop they are walking like pinheads chains are stuck in them. They are just too slow to loop. Leading to double downs and Broken spreading throughout the team and double hooks and the Aura reading just works too well. The Remote Control is not so situational anymore it works like Wallhax now and it was just like a watershed moment using this build I knew this was the best Sadako Build ever conceived you must try this. But it's up to you.

All I got out of that match is even with "OP" rework SWF is still brutally broken and Sadako is likely to get nerfed anyway because of hyper casuals crying. But yet Survivors will be getting more base kit buffs in the pipeline. Yeah, TCM can't release fast enough.
TCM and DBD are nothing alike though. They're not even competitors.

I just think they nerfed her to the ground with much easier counterplay. Nobody learned the counter play pre rework so now it's just braindead easy

I love how otz coverage of this claimed that the add ons were not the best. Meanwhile OPW explains why they were necessary against skilled apponents. Also wierd how people are okay with survivors getting a 3 man escape but forbid that a skilled user of a killer gets a 4K.
Because it would be a problem if one of the best swf teams in a world got 4k-ed, that would mean she requires a serious nerf, however him getting 1k is pretty reasonable and balanced. Even though I have other issues with Onryo, like how relient you are on your teammates and how counterplay can get inconsistent, eventually people will adapt to her playstyle and she'll become mid again. There probably will be some changes made to this buff.

Considering these guys are like some of the best players, this was bound to happen. You almost never will see survs THIS good in a SWF, it's like .5 percent of matches that you'll ever see so I don't think there's much to worry about. Still, shows how weak she is when people know what they are doing.
The only thing that is super annoying af is everyone is like GRAB A TAPE AT THE BEGINNING but like MOTHER FUCKER I CANNOT UNTIL THE T.V.S TURN ON BUT SHE TELEPORTS BEFORE THEN LIKE THREE TIMES.
I was on Midwich and legit near a T.V. at the start, it wasn't on, so I started working on the gen, keeping an eye on it. The moment that I could go get a tap, she ports from it, hits me, and I can't grab the fucking thing lol.
So like no, it's not as easy as "grab a tape at the beginning to deny her condemn". It's a LITTLE harder than that.
she can only tp when the tv's are on, so when you see the tv is up you can take a tape instant and if she tp to your tv your teamate do have the time to take one while she chase you/her tp is on cooldown
it is that is, ive never had issues grabbing a tape. she has a cooldown so no. she cant tp three times before you get a tape lol. unless youre just that bad and cant hear the tvs or see where gens are for the first ~2min of the match

@@Snuffed17 it means swift and it's a team of survivor who plays together like in vocal and are hardcore, trying to get as much point as possible, make the killer have a hard game and uses things that chill survivors won't do
