The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Kerber was literally at her peak in 2016! She won the AO, was in the final at Wimbledon and then won the Us Open! She needs to play like this again

I don't think we'll see peak Kerber again. Especially after going through a pregnancy. Kerber has slowed down alot. I think it really started to show at the US Open in 2021. She was going the distance with every person she faced and barely escaped. But when she met a young teenager named Leylah fernandez it was something different. Kerber and Fernandez were going back and forth but by the third set Kerber was out of gas. Fernandez wore her out and beat the fighting spirit out of Angie in that third set. An unknown teenager outplayed and tapped her out.

At 36-37 years old? Her time is over, and she even knows that. These players just play for the love of the sport, not to win excessivly anymore.
