I was born in 2007, and my older cousin showed me the "new" game Kingdom rush in 2011, and i fell in love with it. I was young and didn't know anything about strategy games but kept on working on myself, and here i am in a beautiful community full of hope and great content creators. I love you guys.
These games aren't meant to be "alive" in the same way that, say, BTD, Terraria, or Minecraft are. They're meant to be great one-off experiences, like the Portal series, Hollow Knight or Plants vs Zombies. Because of this, they can't die in the same way that BTD, Terraria, or Minecraft can. Players stop playing because they're done, not because they're bored or demoralized with the game, and so they leave with a magnificent taste in their mouths, not a bitter one. This means that, as the generation that enjoyed this game ages, and a new generation comes from them, those studios will see a massive spike in popularity as the children of those fans will be introduced to these masterpieces by their parents.

the forces of good and evil teaming up to defeat whatever the fuck that Eye was at the end of vengeance would eve easily been the best pitch for the 5th main KR game ..until they ruined it by making the eye the main antagonist of Legends, and being easily folded
This isn't even corect, the point of the ending was that the eye is still a treat and Vezna is geting despreat. I agree that legends did't really pogressed the story in a meaning full way if thats the case but it set the stage for a team up I think.

I’m curious what your KR5 wishlist would be, they’ve used up a LOT of their ideas so far with KRV pretty much being the original KR but in reverse. And I don’t they’ll get a lot of people excited for KR5 if it turns out that it’s the same gang of linerea heroes trying to liberate it from vez’nan, because that’s what the first two games were 😂😂
Didn't know they ported these these games to Xbox.I will gladly buy them all and get all the achievements in every game. First played the original flash versions then the mobile ports and can now play them on my series X! 😊
there is a video on their channel about the making of Legends of Kingdom Rush and answering some questions, and there they said that the next Kingdom Rush game will be a tower defense, so we don't have to worry about this i guess. but i really hope they will keep updating Legends with more adventures and characters, it became one of my favorite games. also i have no idea how an Autobot weapons expert can make all these games as a hobby

Uhm...we know about Junkworld state even months after soft launch release. We got some news and what they are doing, everything stopped once we learn that they need to rework kinda whole game because community hates that game. Its been..months? Yeah, long time, I probably know something that nobody/VERY few people know, JW is indeed getting some huge changes so i'm not surprised that it takes so long. Sometimes even now IH is answering that JW is delayed. I'm 100% sure we will get some news about JW THIS YEAR. Its not a long ago when Toria pinged everyone on Discord server to ask few questions about JW actually, devs wanted to rename that game (thats not happening, since community kinda decided that Junkworld name fits that theme) and also how would they named Scavenger character (probably us, players). Not 100% sure, but I think one change that is coming is maybe that we are going to be leaders, or just someone in charge of specific group of these Scavengers, like in KR where we are generals. Yeah, uhm, I don't have anything to say, not like I wouldnt care about KR/LKR/IM etc, but..yeah, im indeed JW big fan, so I wanted to say this lol. I don't think a 5th instalment of KR would be good right now, just because they can add so much more content with Legends of KR and Vengeance (we'll get a DLC for it now). For now, they should work in this 2 projects, plus developing and launching Junkworld to Steam.
I don't know... Legends is a good game on its own. I just wish there was more content for it being released. You have so much enemies, locales and heroes in KR lore to make many more campaigns (even as a paid DLC). And yes, I'd definitely want at least one more KR game. We're sort of owed one in a way, as the story is Veznan is basically trying to unite the land to fight off the otherworldly enemy, which was hinted at in Vengeance, explored in Legends but that story was never concluded.
Until the KR games main platform is smart phones I higly doupt that will ever happen. Sadly that market is preatty toxit and would't bring in enought profit.

I’ve been replaying frontiers and the original kr trying to 100%, and oh man theyre just so much more enjoyable than any of their other games to me. All I want is one last tower defense game with a great tower for every type and lots of maps
No wonder they trying to put KR games in more platforms other than phone, over the years the qulaty of phone games eroded, even the good one are litered with predatory micro transactions because pepole are unvilling to pay for them up front (its a complicated topic to why), so expending from that market is actually a great call. Also, over the years the time between kr games expended. I agree that 5~ years is an oddly long amaunt of time, but we got legends in the mean time, yeah the lack of updates and hard dificulty is a bit disapointing and as far as I saw it did't become a hit despite the effort that was clearly put into it, but I would't say it was nothing and I really enjoyed it. My point is that to me it seems like they trying to expend the franchise to other platforms because keeping up the qulaty and inovation is just not duabel anymore in the phone game market. Also I don't quite get why do you say they have been doing nothing when you end up listing all the things the did the past year. Yeah Ironhide has gotten progessively worse, but they were always konda greedy. Even from KR1 a bunch of heroes were worth more than the game. Same pattern in KR2 and KRO, but in KRV and Iron Marines is when they went full on pay to win
Ironhide should update the Kingdom Rush series instead of releasing new games. this shouldn't be really hard, we don't really care about the actors in this studio. We want kingdom rush uptade, they are making iron marines game. i think what they should do is krf kro update and vengeance remastered. They didn't even bring hammerhold update for krv game even endlees

I would absolutely love it if the kingdom rush games were all ported to VR. I would gladly replay all of them again. Right now the only good tower defense game on quest 2 is Iron Guard, and it really shows off the genre's potential on VR.
hi, i have not been playing ironhide games for like 1-2 years. I played kingdom rush, got all stars on the hardest difficulty, got all missions, and stuff like that, basically finish the game completely, did so with Frontiers, same with Origins and played only a couple of levels on Venganence, due to it being boring compared to the rest and of playing too much kingdom rush games back to back, i still don't feel like playing. Few weeks ago I decided to go to the play store and see if they released any new games after Junkworld, it wasn't there. That's why I am here, wth happened? And when will the other game come to Android? legends of kingdom rush, it's on steam now but somehow it was an apple exclusive game. ngl makes Ironhide look desperate. when will it come to Android, since i do wonder, does it continue the kingdom rush lore? if so, then wouldnt android players miss out if they release a sixth game to the series as there would be a gap due to legends of kingdom rush ( plus why do you refer to whatever the next game that is going to be released as kr5, isnt it going to be the 6th if Legends of kingdom rush was the 5th game) or do u not see as it a tower defence game so u remove it from the series. thanks for giving me updates
