Another great video for a potential problem. I've checked mine once since switching to round pugs and thick belt. All was well but I will continue to check. Thanks again for looking out for us RZR owners.
Another option to pressing in the hat would be throw it in your freezer for a day or two (make sure the wife doesn't see it). Quickly coat with Retaining Compound and slide it in. Also, I might look into Loctite 641. Has a smaller gap fill and higher temp rating than 620. Shear strength is less with 641, but that shouldn't be a factor.
Good comment, you beat me to it, put the hat into the freezer like you said and also put the clutch housing into the oven at around 200° for an hour and then quickly push it in. The hat will shrink a little and the clutch will expand.
Can a clutch cause the drivetrain to lock up holding back on a hill. Mine is making loud noise on decel and drivetrain locked up and put in neutral and would role and then took back off
Hello friend, blessings, I just got a Rzr xp1000 but I didn't test it well when I bought it and until now I realized that it doesn't go over 50mph, what could I do? Please help
I would not know, we have a much smaller dealing with turbo's but I do not think they have major malfunctions other than the plastic slides in them wearing

As mentioned in the video, a way not necessarily the way and this way is another way too. Thanks
@@Hunterworks Absolutely agree, more than 1 way to skin a cat. Thanks for all of your videos.

You have a primary clutch issue, find our how to troubleshoot a primary clutch video and go through it
So when I try to torque my secondary down, the top hat spins and makes it near impossible. What could be the cause for this? Thanks.
If the clutch is staying still and this is happening, only two possibilities and that is, not on all the way or something broke on the spider
My 2021 Polaris rzr xp 4 1000 is making a noise now from the clutch area, will a thick belt fix the problem? I haven’t had my first service yet.
Did ever figure it out I have a 21 as well making that noise actually started after I changed belts
Yes the belt was not tight after I got the belt tightened up the noise stopped.
Is this the same for a highlifter edition
if a 17 and newer yes
To bad there isn't a replacement one with a tiny circlip on the back!
Any major issue's with a 2020 Xp turbo clutches?
