Ford did not become New Holland but when Ford stopped making tractors they sold all their patents and designs to New Holland.
I'm pretty sure Ford did become New Holland just for the tractors New Holland has been around since 1895. Abram Zimmerman started as a black smith in New Holland Pennsylvania, then later on he started making machinery that was being used in feed mills and then Abram Zimmerman designed a hit and miss engine with a water tank that when it froze it wouldn't crack the tank. And so on. What happened was in 1986 New Holland was bought out by Ford motor company and that's when the Ford tractors was starting to be built by New Holland with a New Holland/Ford name then in 1991 was bought by fiatagri, and is still owned by them under CNH. Which now also owns Ji case/international farm machinery. And other companies as well.

In germany only big companys use them.
Normal farmers use other brands.
Straight up raw power fendt. NH for the smaller farmer. Massey for those grass folks. Case for the legit big operations. John deere for the fan boys, and band wagon farming sim donkeys who like companies with shady buisness practices and treat clients like rez dogs.
