Great video! I think you had a really balanced perspective of the series and shared your personal thoughts without being disrespectful, which is something I think the fanbase struggles with sometimes lol. My favorite arc is still Sky but they all have their merits.
As for my experience, I started with Sky and then played the rest of the series in succession. Personally I'd recommend starting with Sky IF you're willing to do so, as I think the series really benefits in the long term from starting at the beginning and seeing the story progress bit by bit. That being said, any arc is a good starting point and I'd rather people get into the series through whatever arc they feel comfortable with than not doing so at all.

Thank you I appreciate it! I started with Sky too, but I can definitely understand how some people might not be able to get into it the first time around.
I think it's much more healthy to find a point that really grabs your attention, and then if you find yourself wanting more, the other games are there whenever you want to play them.

I started on sky. It took me a while to get through it, as it takes the game a while to get going. But its definitely worth playing. (On sky SC now)

I am thinking of trying the Trails from Daybreak demo. I don't mind spoilers of earlier games. I was going to start with Sky FC, but I don't want to devote myself that much to such a huge series. I figure if I like Trails from Daybreak, then I might explore earlier stuff.

Yeah that's a totally fine way to do it. Trails through Daybreak is a good place to start, plus it'll give you some time in between when they release the next game.

As long as you don't start with fucking Cold Steel 3, you'll be fine

while its true the daybreak game INCLUDING the upcoming 3rd one use the Elemental System from the 3 Sky games + Zero/Ao No Kiseki the Elemental lvs in the 3 Kuro/Daybreak games do NOT have you LEARN SPELLS temporarily with them also in the 3 Sky games + Zero/Ao No Kiseki you can't even STACK Str boosting quartzs etc.
That's why in the 3 Sky games good luck having S crafts break even 10,000 damage in Sky SC and the 3rd even on EASY mode at lv 99 and lv 150 when even AGATE uses Dragon drive itself.
On Very Easy/Easy mode S crafts in daybreak 1 at lv 99 could possibly top around 50,000 damage in 1 use too bad the LAST bosses have like 5 times that HP on Very easy/easy mode and you can't SPAM 4x of them IN 1 turn.
