Subbed =- just watch your Chained Echoes vid which was awesome, but have an ongoing nagging to dive into Legend of Heroes. So far Trails in the Sky isn't really gelling with me, but sticking with it
Thank you! Real talk, it takes Sky a long ass time to get going, but the payoff is worth it.
Very different experience for me. Started with Sky and i like it more than Comd Steel. It seems the writing of falcom is more and more anime tropey. Usually i don’t mind it but it’s just too much in Cold Steel for me. I like the dialogue in sky and zero more.
My problem with the dialogue in CS is that there’s too much sometimes, I don’t need everyone in on the conversation. I feel you on the anime tropes, it didn’t bother me but I get.
Started cold steel 1. Slowwww loaded with what you love guy... Storylineeeeee 😴😴😴😴😴😁. Almost gave up until just like u I had my bff tell me don't give up... Went onto part two n fell in loveeeeee. Freedom. Airship travel!. Insaneeeeee damage by party members in the hundreds of thousands!. Everything part one isn't. Part three back to noooooooo. Damage got nerfed beyondddd. N back to no world exploration via ship. Ughhh... Part four my love came back. Insaneeeeee party roster. Etc. played the crossbell ones nope for me.. once you play game were party members are huge on screen it's hard to go back in a series and play with pixel size party members.
Yep! All the story is what I love about it, even if they do talk too much sometimes. The Crossbell games are amazing, but if you do decide to play them, play on Switch. The PS4 port is based on a older port and the Switch version is brand new so it has added features and qol updates.
