If you come from kolkata on flight and stay at a costly hotel it would be expensive, if u come via train and stay at a budget homestay it would be cheaper. So it's hard to say a cost . However the guide charge was 2500 per day when I went.

Thanks for your compliment. Yes March is very good time. You need to rent a taxi or use own car there are no auto rickshaw for transporting in between the birding hotspots

There are multiple ways , taxi being the expensive one. You can take bus from ISBT to kathgodam or you can take another train from delhi to kathgodam. From kathgodam,sattal is very close

For me it was around 20k including everything, I stay at Delhi and travel by car . you can DM me in insta. Also as mentioned earlier cost is variable apart from the guide charges everything else depends on where u stay what u eat how u travel.
