  • Here I'm playing a team of four infantry focused factions against eight Knight level AI. It's not gonna be easy!
Conquest of Elysium 5 is a versatile 4X/roguelike strategy hybrid game that boasts a remarkable amount of content and a depth of gameplay that isn't immediately apparent on first glace.

2:23 Generally as Dwarf you always want to buy Iron. Emeralds for a Councilor or some Diamonds to get a tier 3 Dvala is also a good idea.
7:34 You can just double click. Or press 'n' to cycle back to that commander.
8:55 The Arbalests can't get their armor upgraded. You can however upgrade the weapons of the Arbalests. Though you need an upgraded Runesmith for that.
10:37 You wanted to give the Silver Mine to the Barbarian.
11:39 I would have moved the Barbarian Leader into the Baron's army. That way he would have been safer. Again, if you lose both the Leader and the Barbarian Camp, no more Barbarians.
13:03 Hoburgers do have faster Animal or Clockwork armies.
13:56 I would give the Silver Mine to the Barbarian, and the three Coal Mines to the Dwarfs. Gems are nice for them, but not required. Iron is far more important.
15:28 The Vulcano also produces Rubies. You should grab it with either Dwarfs or Hoburgers.
19:37 Knights aren't fast. Only Cavalrymen are. And War Dogs.
20:14 In a Fallen Undead Empire the undead capital does exactly that. :D
24:19 Yes. Always Fort first, then Levies.
25:22 YOU WANT THE WEREBEAR!!! IT REGENERATES AND HAS 30 HP!!! Sorry for that, but Werebears are just so much better than Barbarian Warriors. The only thing the Warriors can do better is hit more things at once. Also why Warriors and not Swordsmen? You have the Iron? Sorry if I sound too critical, but unless an enemy has a transformation or instant death spell, the Werebear will likely survive until the end of the game.
30:28 That's an Abandoned Mine. No Gold income, so the Dwarfs are the better option here.

    Strategy:
    Sharing Resources:
I would suggest the following resource sharing:
Farms: Burgmeister. It's the best Weed income as well as 3 Gold. None of your other classes can use them as well.
Hamlets: Baron. Not only can he fortify them, but he also gets the most conscription there. Even Villages only give the same.
Villages: Barbarian: The Barbarian is the one among your classes that can use Gold the best. The Baron is a strong second place. Don't put levies on them or you can't switch ownership later.
Jungle Villages: Barbarian. He gets Gold and Herbs here.
Coal Mines: Dwarfs. They want the Iron. Also the Gems.
Greater Mines: Dwarfs. They want the Iron. Also the Gems. Maybe with the exception of a Gold Stream. Those don't actually have any Iron.
Gem Deposits: Best for Burgmeister. Though the Dwarfs can also make use out of them. Though I think they get reduced Gems from them?
Forests, Swamps: Barbarian. He is the only one who can use them.
Ancient Forests: Barbarian. While the Burgmeister also can get some Herbs here, but it's only 1 more than from a Hoburg Village, while the Barbarian can get six times the amount of Herbs than from a normal Forest. Though one Ancient Forest for the Burgmeister for Ent summoning also makes sense.
Cities and Towns: Depends. Probably either the Barbarian or the Baron. If the Barbarian has enough gold income to get all his Amazon and caster offers, as well as any Ghosts he wants to hire in Hades, the Baron can make use of the Gold as well. Or the Hoburgers. Again I would recommend not putting any Levies on them to be able to switch them around later.
    So to summarize:
Dvala wants as much Iron as possible. Gems as secondary priority.
Barbarian wants enough gold to get all his Amazon offers, which is a lot, and all the Forests and Swamps for Herbs.
Baron wants all the Hamlets fortified for Knight and Spearman conscription. Any Iron he needs is probably best produced via Trade.
Burgmeister want all the Farms to turn into Hoburg Villages. I don't know if you want to actually use Gems and Clockworks in a shared game with a Herb class. Making Clockwork destroys Forests, so I would suggest focusing on Animal and Ent summoning instead with some Hoburg Crossbow as ranged support.

Good advice, not followed it for the game for the most part but I'll try to pick that up.
