Was great to see you again bro, its crazy that i know you only over a year know and seems like i’ve known you forever. On of the best things that you can achieve trough running apparently are not just the results but getting to know other people and in our case just be good friends. Thanks again bud 🙏🏻🇦🇱🇬🇧
@@groupsimon6501 hey Simon, i just did the 10k in really easy pace, can’t race at the moment so i just took the opportunity to have a good time in my home country and have a nice weekend with Ben and friends 😊
Great to see you again Ben, we've missed you! The best thing about running is the friendships you make, the running community is so open, welcoming & supportive. Look forward to seeing you again soon. Run Strong Ben
I guess I've never really thought about how much warm temperature can affect a race if its something you aren't used to. I live near Brisbane in Australia and from like October- late March, I'm running through 30 degree plus temperatures with silly humidity, and my automatic instinct when you said it was hot at 22 was "id kill to race in that!" Guess it would be the other way around for me, I would probably struggle in the constant cold/wet/overcast conditions you have over in the UK. Cracking effort mate and well done on the third place!
Well done Ben. You inspired me to do my first half marathon at the age of 52 and I picked a epic one. The 2 Oceans Marathon in Cape Town, South Africa. I hope to see you in South Africa in the near future.
Great video, I’ve been to Albania multiple times and love it. Your such an inspiration for me as I’ve just started running UA-cam, hope you keep making amazing content like this ❤
Couple of things; 1. Quality video, I can always rely on your videos for some running inspo. 2. Well want to do that race now, Barat looks really nice!
I was last in Berat about 10 years ago--and it looks like it's grown so much! (Except for the castle: That's still ancient and as epic as ever. ;) Ben, I love your travel videos! You're literally running all over the world!
Brilliant this - travelling around the world and sharing your passion with the world 🏃♂️💨💨💨 top running aswell …. I’m curious what did you do with the cheque ?? 😂😂
How do you fuel for a half marathon ? I’d love to know more about your fuelling strategies on both half and full marathon ! Love your videos, I just ran my first marathon in Paris last Sunday !
Wish I won some race money... After lots of effort, I eventually won 1st place in one race, only later to find out it had only sponsor's gift box as a prize. No money involved.
Hey Ben! Just wondering what your warmup looks like for a half and full marathon? Like how many miles/km do you run before the race and how long before you take off. Thanks and best of luck with the rest of your training!
@BenIsRunning it's the 60th anniversary this year, quite a tough undulating course through the village and Ron Hill still holds the record from the first one

Great to see you both back running together. I visited Albania about 3 years ago and loved it, so friendly. Definitely on the list to visit again.

I’m not sure what I thought Albania would look like, but it wasn’t this! It looks beautiful there. Congrats Ben
Albania is a beautiful country. Deserves more tourism.
Certainly is, had never thought about a visit if im honest but certainly would now.
Isn't it really dangerous?

Looks like a great place and a really nice race! Seems that the tourism was a good warm up too. Nice to meet up with Kush again no doubt!

Well done getting that prize money! Looks like a beautiful place for a HM. Love seeing you and Kush on another adventure =D
Ben is traveling! Your editing skills keep getting better. This one is great.
Really cool town and beautiful surroundings. I bet for the mountain running must be nice too. Not a bad weekend at all and congrats on your 3rd place.
Congratulations Ben. Great reaction to the win 😊 🎉

On the roll! You should do Sarajevo Half on 22 Sep, would have great chances for top 3 there too!
Great job, can't believe you run with a camera in hand too, I could never do that.
Smashed it Ben! Well done mate, glad you had a mega time
Congrats! Best results from the weekend this and Matthias Kyburz debut in Paris.
Looks like a great weekend and a great race!
It looks beautiful nice job on your race, congrats

Looks like a nice place. Congrats on your 3rd place. And the prize money ist for your next trip to Kenya? 😊
Good job! Running in 70 degree and over weather is hard for me too.
Love the channel. I'm an American living in Albania so if you need someone to film next time, hit me up.

Amazing area, certainly going to visit at some point.
Kush and you should come to Sarajevo in Sep and run Sarajevo half. You'd stand a great chace for a win/podium there, too!
Congratulations on the excellent performance, a curiosity what model are your Oakleys? they are really beautiful!!
Now then, young Ben, would you ever have thought 10 years back that you would be on the podium of international races?! 🙌
Good Work BEN
looking forward to welcome you in Berat Green Half Marathon on April 6th, 2025 :)

Find him on Strava! I learn a lot from his activities.
Where can I get that singlet? It looks really nice, but I can’t find this colorway on their website😢
Its by a company called no club running club, think they may have sold out as its from a year or so ago
Come to greece my friend
Since you raced in Albania you most likely stole the show😄
Hello Ben! What’s the name of the little camera you carry?
Cool vid, tho how do you manage to race with a selfie stick/camera? Just the imagination of doing so seems painfull 😂
It's just a small camera, you can see it in the footage as i cross the line,. Very unintrustive to carry
yeah

Another reminder to change your "Training in Kenya" playlist to not having an impaulsive episode with Casey Neistat :D
Its a good episode to be fair, might leave it ahah

Mail the check to yourself like a postcard!!!

Can't they write put a normal sized cheque
Come and run the Freckleton half, oldest half marathon in UK and think 2nd oldest in the world
That sounds pretty good, may have to add it to my list!
@BenIsRunning it's the 60th anniversary this year, quite a tough undulating course through the village and Ron Hill still holds the record from the first one
You didnt get the money?
Looked like a beautiful place, shame it's got the reputation of organised gangs coming to the UK as I suspect it deters people. Great running 💪
I think the second place winner is from Turkey...atleast that's the flag they have shown 😅
Second guy is Turkish.
