Great video! I think this is the best Robot Vac channel in UA-cam. I'm a bit puzzled about the outcome. Surely the Eufy S1 Pro is one of the bests if not the best robot vac available.
I don't know how you came to that conclusion in the mopping section. I have a Eufy S1 and my Floors where never that clean, even by hand mopping. Sent a Roborock QRevo back as the S1 is far more superior than anything on the market. Carpets i admit it lacks, but Tile and Hardwood it reigns supreme over all other Robo Vacs.
@amdproseries Make sure your S1 is updated to the latest version 6.9.43 and also update your app. They added a new setting for height sensitivity and it fixed the issue of not getting close to edges. I set mine to medium and it now gets right up against the toe kicks in my kitchen as well as the baseboards.
I'm still using the budget friendly Irobot 694. While it doesn't have mapping capability or mopping features, it works well for my small one story home. I like the simplicity of it and easy to clean dirt bin.
Could you do a review on the Roborock Qrevo Pro? It would be nice to see how its performance compares to the Qrevo Master since the Pro is so much cheaper, but when you look on the website it looks like the features are very similar between the two.
I appreciate all your testing and feedback, but one thing that is frustrating me as i shop for a new robot vacuum is how hard it is to locate the height dimension on the manufacturers websites. Many of the best performers are too tall for my need. Can you recommend a smart navigation option that is around 3” tall?
Can you please do a like-on-like comparison of Eufy S1 Pro and Dreame X40? I see a lot of comments here, but if you can do an actual real-world comparison video, that would really help.
Thanks for your great videos... What i am missing lately in vaccuum robot reviews, is the test which height of steps the new robots can climb... Since in my flat every room has a step between 2-2,5cm this is an important feature and every channel stopped testing this a long time ago. But i think since every robot now has some cleaning pads installed they can not handle steps like this.... Another thing is the check with different carpets... In the past every robot review channel checked this, now this is gone, too. And i miss the Xiaomi Vacuum x20+, it wins every budget review this year, since it is a robot with water and dust station and is only 399€ here in Europe
Hi @kookyBone l have same situation regarding steps with similar height at my place. Did you find any particular brand/model able to sort out this issue? thanks
The Eufy S1 is by FAR the best for mopping, by a large margin. The included onzonated water generator is also a massive plus that should have added to the final score.
Awesome review and information overall not just because of the usual reasons but because I think this video is going to (or should) cause a reevaluation and innovation of the mopping tests… the only thing it seems that would keep the S1 from taking the top spot in my opinion could be the lack of edge cleaning (inherent in its design) but even that is a stretch for it to be #2. Missing the top 6 altogether for mopping is just an alarm bell that there’s something in the testing that is either over or under weighted in your scoring. I can’t speak to exactly what it is but I think something with the glow in the dark test ought to be utilized to display that the S1 does a much better job reducing, or even eliminating, pushing around soiled water/solution on its mop. This should have been evident in the glow in the dark wet test but I think the scoring is too easy and allows for the other top end mops to still score highly there when in practice they are good yes, but there’s a massive gap between them and the S1
Did you the Shark Matrix in Matrix Mode to get deep clean carpet score of 92.0? If so what score would it get without matrix mode being used? Since Matrix Mode is only available to be used in one spot in your house as a spot clean. Thanks
Can we get a review on the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat? I don’t know how much different it will be from the normal L10s Ultra, but I’m curious on its performance vs the X10 Pro Omni from Eufy
This could not have been more perfectly timed.. I was watching the 2023 wrap up and the 2024 all vacuum list this afternoon at work and was like, “I wish he would do a mid-year review of what’s good.” And here we are😂
Really wish you would show the breakdowns somewhere or be more transparent. Overall score really doesn’t help at all for people who care more about a specific feature ie if you have pets vs someone who cares more about mopping etc
Regarding the Nav-Score: I noticed with Roomba that it does not clean the walls or "edges" very well. In mho it would need to do a sweep with it side brush. But it does not do that. Maybe this is something to consider in your score. Because it is not only coverage.
I've read @vacuumwars responses to the questions about why the S1 Pro doesn't rank higher in mopping. And i gotta say the scoring system needs to be overhauled with some kind of weighting. The S1 pro smashes the competition in mopping. To score it 6th based on minor issues is wild when it is significantly better at mopping than those ranked higher.
I can't believe the Ecovacs made the list of top navigators. I had two of them and they were both awful. One thing none I've tried do well and that is avoiding cables and cords. Surprised the new Eufy S1 Pro didn't win the mopping section.
I'd like to know where the Switchbot robovac stacks up. It can hook up to your water so you never have to empty it or refill the dock with clean water.
Thanks for the video! How can someone see the data results to compare between different options. I am not sure if roborock q7 max+ is better than eufy l60 hybrid
How do we know which vacuums you tested? Did you test the shark, etc? And I’m going to see if you have a detailed review of the Eufy L60 versions cause we’re budget but my kids make a mess! I just need some help with all the dust, and dirt!
I would like to see shredded paper as part of these tests. My cousin has a Shark Matrix and it did a fine job of pushing the shredded paper that got onto the carpet around. Had to pull out the Corded vacuum to pick it up.
What about offline operation? There where multiple instances the last few years where companies bricked products by disabled servers or online frature denial. I want a vaccum not to upload my floor plan and to be managed locally only. There also should be a repairability score. A robot vaccum can easily last 20 years with a few easi repairs if modularity and parts availability are ensured.
"the eufy s1 pro is one of the best robots for mopping hard floors" thats from your review of it. So if its one of the best. Why didnt it make the list for best mopping??
I think these days obstacle avoidance is key. Even if cleaning is mediocre, a robot that does not get stuck can just keep cleaning. A robot that gets stuck is super frustrating, and I am convinced that nobody is sufficiently testing this. Every house is different, and a simple living room with a sock, a cord, and a plastic dog poo is not even close to a sufficient test.
I have a senior dog with very long fur on his tail, I'm really concerned about the vacuum getting too close to him and sucking up his tail (he doesn't move when I vacuum). Would camera detection avoid getting too close to his tail? Would any budget vacuum be safe around him?
Thabk you so much! Could you help me? I'm confuse about roborock s7 max ultra and eufy t30s =/ for usd 100 dollar of difference, more exposive is roborock
100% agree. Most of these robots can be found for nearly half their launch price within a year of launch. I bought an open box Dreame L20 for under $600 a few months ago.
Need to start taking privacy policies into account for robot vacuums now that many have cameras and enhanced data gathering. Especially considering how prominent Eufy is featured AFTER its camera privacy scandal.
Can you do a video about bed vacuums that heat up and have UV light? or, maybe if there is one I missed, can you please link it? There are so many of them on Amazon and I am not sure if there is a difference between a regular handheld vacuum and these ones except for the UV light. Thanks so much.
We have a review of that one right here: ua-cam.com/video/dfHd2Cyis-I/v-deo.html. There is definitely a lot to like there, it just didn't make it to our top picks.
I love this channel and used your recommendation to buy the Roborock s7 max v ultra when it was still the best. I wonder how the old top picks stack up to the new ones.
Why don't you take into consideration the warranty, parts availability, and durability. I recently bought a Dreame product, although the mapping is great, you can not get parts easily and they don't have a warranty registry for repair. My unit has gaskets sticking to the dust bin when I clean the filter. I also tried to get an extra dust bin on Amazon. It doesn't work at all with the unit. Dreame offered me another dust bin at extra cost, I am still waiting on the part. I usually keep 2 dust bins so I can properly clean and dry them. My shark detect pro has all the parts available and the warranty was great. My lidar got stuck and they replaced the unit at no cost to me. I still have not tried a Roborock yet, but if the go on sale in the future, I will try them. As far as Dreame, they're not as good a qualty as the Shark products.
I bought a Dreame L20 ultra a few months ago, but returned it after a month because the vacuum bag was just about empty. I was using it on carpet and solid floors 50/50. My upright vacuum is like 50 times more powerful the robot. I'm scared to buy the new Dreame model..It worked ok on solid floors but not excellent either. The washing cycle was good but not perfect. Is there another model or another brand coming up soon?
I was looking at getting a Narwal robot vac and wanted to see what you had to say about them but couldn't seem to find any reviews on your page. is there a reason why this brand isn't included anywhere?
People are sad about the Omni S1 Pro not being on here. Well let me tell you MY experience. -Good mopping (very) -Good obstacle avoidance (ONLY IN DAY) That’s where the Pros stop. Sorry but this product made the vacuum an after thought. It does bad when picking up hair off a VERY thin carpet. When I say bad. I had the X10 Omni. The fact the brush has some bristles HELPS BIG TIME. I usually have to run it multiple times a day to clean my carpet properly. At night time it gets stuck on wires under my tv stand or computer desk. This doesn’t happen during the day. But I run a cycle at night so I wake up to a clean apartment. So far it’s gotten stuck 5 times on wires and stuff it should not. Simply cause it’s dark. The X10 has a bright light. This was never an issue. Calling Eufy for a return Tomorrow. I just ordered the DREAMEx40 ultra. Praying to god it’s good. Oh also the s1 doesn’t let you use your own soap. I like natural cleaners that are safe for pets. Can’t do that with this.
I M Really struggling here Vacuum Wars! I am very much focused on the X10 pro or the Dreame 40 Ultra.. I’m kinda stuck as Best Buy doesn’t carry the Dreame product for some reason and I have a $300 gift card. There are some things that the Dreame has that are really driving me that the X10 doesn’t. Bigger or being the arm reaching out when needing to.. I’m needing something that really screams at me that I’m not making that wrong choice going with the X10 from Eufy other than just the big difference in price.. & Bust Buy doesn’t carry the Dreame as?? Wish they did as I would go with it for sure! Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!

This channel worth subscription for 1000%!!!
Thanks!
Definitely saving up for that dreame x40 ultra
Didn't they JUST claim that the S1 was the best hardwood floor robot ever in their last video?
Which Qrevo model did you send back?
I'm still using the budget friendly Irobot 694. While it doesn't have mapping capability or mopping features, it works well for my small one story home. I like the simplicity of it and easy to clean dirt bin.
Man there is a channel for everything
Completely agree. I own 2 x40s. Don't care about the price as long as I have the best. 😊
Thank you for the feedback! That really helps us out.
Hi @kookyBone l have same situation regarding steps with similar height at my place. Did you find any particular brand/model able to sort out this issue? thanks
Appreciate the effort you do to help consumers out!!!
Thanks so much!!
@@VacuumWarswill there be a full review of the Deebot X2 Omni?
The Eufy S1 is by FAR the best for mopping, by a large margin. The included onzonated water generator is also a massive plus that should have added to the final score.
congratulations to Dreame 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 great job ❤
Great video 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Awsome videos......
Going to use your amazon link for the Kenmore corded.
Keep making good content.
Awesome, thank you!
Can you compare the robot (wet/dry) for mobbing and vacuuming versus the Tineco s5 and s7 vacuums please
What is better? Dreame l10s pro ultra heat, q revo pro or dreame l20 ultra, all have almost the same price for me...
Wondering the same thing..
Thanks
Ended up going with the eufyx10 seems like the best value
We hope you are happy with it!
Can we get a review on the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat? I don’t know how much different it will be from the normal L10s Ultra, but I’m curious on its performance vs the X10 Pro Omni from Eufy
I second this!!
This could not have been more perfectly timed.. I was watching the 2023 wrap up and the 2024 all vacuum list this afternoon at work and was like, “I wish he would do a mid-year review of what’s good.” And here we are😂
Same!🎉
Really wish you would show the breakdowns somewhere or be more transparent. Overall score really doesn’t help at all for people who care more about a specific feature ie if you have pets vs someone who cares more about mopping etc
He individually reviews most of them.
He does. This is a compilation or summary
This guy is a dumbas. Clearly biased.
5:45 is where you get the first review.
How come you don’t test the Narwal line up?
I can't believe the Ecovacs made the list of top navigators. I had two of them and they were both awful. One thing none I've tried do well and that is avoiding cables and cords. Surprised the new Eufy S1 Pro didn't win the mopping section.
If they manage to improve carpet performance of the Eufy S1 pro, it will be hands down best overall.
I'd like to know where the Switchbot robovac stacks up. It can hook up to your water so you never have to empty it or refill the dock with clean water.
Addicted to your videos. Keep up the good work! Please branch out into other appliances. A washing-dryer wars 🤩
I got a l20 ultra based off of some of the reviews but it just wonders so aimlessly and take so long to do the job. Went back to Roborock
Thanks for the video! How can someone see the data results to compare between different options. I am not sure if roborock q7 max+ is better than eufy l60 hybrid
I love your videos, but I wish you would make these a bit longer and go more into detail.
Can you tell me if in this test fight was the Dreame L10s pro ultra heat?
what about SwitchBot S10 ? i ve heard it has the best mop.
Can the dreame x40 detekt Mirorrs so it doesnt create an realm into infinity on the map?
Love your videos keep it up!❤
Thank you!
Why didnt it make the list for best mopping??
because he changes his rankings for whoever pays him the most... notice his website isn't consistent with this list at all
Because there were new models reviewed afterwards.
I mostly have carpets at home, would you say shark matrix would be best to get? I currently have roborock s7
Why didn't u show discontinued vacuums? So we buy them second hand?!
I have a senior dog with very long fur on his tail, I'm really concerned about the vacuum getting too close to him and sucking up his tail (he doesn't move when I vacuum). Would camera detection avoid getting too close to his tail? Would any budget vacuum be safe around him?
The end of the IRobot is here!
Next year you won't see them in any lists and for good reasons!
Would you dtill recommend the L60 over something like the Roborock Q8Max for a house with mainly carpets?
Dreame L20ultra or qrevo pro? Did you test it?
For obstacle avoidance, is there a list for the 100 robots that were tested?
Thabk you so much! Could you help me? I'm confuse about roborock s7 max ultra and eufy t30s =/ for usd 100 dollar of difference, more exposive is roborock
Can you test this tricut brush from dreame? I love it for anti hair tangling but I wonder if I’m missing out on a regular cleaning performance
Never pay full price for robovac's! Wait for specials or discount codes.
100% agree. Most of these robots can be found for nearly half their launch price within a year of launch. I bought an open box Dreame L20 for under $600 a few months ago.
@@mohamedahmed1023 yup, I always buy last years trend. And since a robotvacuum lasts atleast 4 years in my house, it is a big upgrade every time😅
Need to start taking privacy policies into account for robot vacuums now that many have cameras and enhanced data gathering.
Thank you for the time you put into thes videos. May I know why the Eureka E10s didn't make the list this time ? It's pretty cheap too
We have a review of that one right here: ua-cam.com/video/dfHd2Cyis-I/v-deo.html. There is definitely a lot to like there, it just didn't make it to our top picks.
hey do a chart about vacuum bots that have international shipping, none of those ships to Brazil. Tks
Looking for a replacement for my Ecovacs Deebot T8 AIVI, any suggestions for a
@vacuumwars can you add a dark carpet test with swatches alternate as this has been an issue for a lot of robots.
What about the Ecovacs x5?
Any plans to review the narwal freo ultra?
Managed to get the Eufy X9 Pro for only $400, hoping it's nearly as good as the X10
We hope you enjoy it!
I love this channel and used your recommendation to buy the Roborock s7 max v ultra when it was still the best. I wonder how the old top picks stack up to the new ones.
Would you say the Roomba j9+ is a great value for $799 on Amazon?
Do you sell these used vaccums?
I bought a Dreame L20 ultra a few months ago, but returned it after a month because the vacuum bag was just about empty. I was using it on carpet and solid floors 50/50. My upright vacuum is like 50 times more powerful the robot. I'm scared to buy the new Dreame model..It worked ok on solid floors but not excellent either. The washing cycle was good but not perfect. Is there another model or another brand coming up soon?
Wow, feels like not too long ago, Dreame was pretty unknown and a big underdog, now it's really making it's case to be one of the best.
It's really cool to see a brand rise up like this!
I was looking at getting a Narwal robot vac and wanted to see what you had to say about them but couldn't seem to find any reviews on your page. is there a reason why this brand isn't included anywhere?
I loved the video! Also, can you review the Roomba Combo 10 Max that has recently come out?
People are sad about the Omni S1 Pro not being on here. Well let me tell you MY experience.
-Good mopping (very)
-Good obstacle avoidance (ONLY IN DAY)
That’s where the Pros stop.
S1 not being on the list for best mopping is hilarious and odd
It would be nice to include your full results sheet
What is the best vaccum without a camera?
Roborock Q Revo
And without the “app/extras.”
When are you releasing your x40 review?
I need a dream x40 ultra. I don’t care how expensive it is. I love a clean clean floor
Let us know how you like it!
But who cleans the vacuumcleaner and who is the vacuumcleaner in the end
