Loved the vintage still shot of the Christ statue being transported to the park via truck. I can't imagine what the other motorists were thinking when they saw that.
Thank you from Germany for another interesting video. If I should ever make it to California, I‘d have tons of spots to visit just by your amazing work. 👍
Very interesting oddity, Bethany and Drew. Thanks for the tour. While you're in the neighborhood I hope you visit the extremely unusual home Bev Doolittle built on the SE outskirts of the village of Joshua Tree.
Another cool piece of oddity out in California. Never thought there was so many little cool sites like this out in California, but it's awesome to be able to see them even if we can't go and see them ourselves. Another awesome video, thank you!
Another fun and interesting odyssey. Always look forward to see what t-shirt Bethany will wear for the adventure. You guys have the perfect chemistry as hosts. Really enjoyed watching this on Sunday morning. “I think I see Jesus.” 😄Haha!
Thanks to you two my wife and I visited Christ Park and Shiprock today. We used to explore all the time before Covid. You guys helped us get motivated to get back out there again and re-engage. Thank you B&D 😊
@@OddityOdysseys Christ Park and Shiprock were both excellent choices. We're in San Bernardino and appreciate sights in our desert, lots of cool things to see. I was going to send you an email, have you seen Bill Mann's guides to the Mojave Desert? He has documented hundreds of cool places to visit. I could possibly make a copy of mine if you're interested. Would be lots of good ideas for you 🙂
Great video guys. Thank you for sharing things of spiritual interest as well as historical. As always your video production is excellent. Keep up the good work!
Those statues are so beautiful. I'm so happy no one has complained about them and tried to cause trouble. Built as a response to the Cold War, to promote peace. The statue of Christ would've been so gorgeous in the Grand Canyon. 😥
Alas, we drove through Pioneertown, but didn't have much time left that day, so we'll be back soon to give it the proper exploration it deserves. Thanks for watching!
i work the youtube channel of the church next to desert Christ park and if you ever return i can show you the history books about the church and the park from 1960 with the founders and to 2000 to present day and also we share the property so The Park and Church are one! even though they may have had to move the statues for our churches construction our church members in the 60's helped bring that Christ statue up that mountain and helped with other parts as well
Not that it matters but I am curious. Are you married to each other, dating or just friends? Beautiful chemistry and love the vids. I will never likely visit CA but if I do I will go some of the places you show. Great content
I dunno ... I just don´t like Christianity on the land of the native americans ... not so respectful in my eyes. maybe its just me, being european. anyways ... somehow I like the white color.
I'm so glad I found this channel a while ago, thanks for all the awesome journeys you've taken us on! :)
Thank you so much for checking them out!
I was waiting for new episode from both of you. Thank you for new episode and many more to come 😍😍😍
Happy to see your posts popping up again!
Loved the vintage still shot of the Christ statue being transported to the park via truck. I can't imagine what the other motorists were thinking when they saw that.
Probably several double-takes for sure, haha...
When they saw the statue being transported they more than likely said JESUS CHRIST. Just sayin, lol!
I know what I would be thinking: 'Jesus, TAKE THE WHEEL!' 😌😌
"HE is not here HE has risen"

Another great California Love Tshirt. Awesome
Thanks for showing us another oddity. You Rock.
Thank you! This shirt is one we designed and it definitely works for any CA visits. :)
Drew: " I'm going to drive without looking"
Bethany : "What else is new"??
That lovely young lady is a gold mine.
Interesting bit of folk art.
Thanks for the videos
That was amazing never knew something like that was out there.
I've lived in California most of my life & didn't know about half of the places this channel has visited.
Time to go exploring in my state!
Thanks for this great video.
Great video. I appreciate how respectfully it was done.
When I see a new video, I drop Everything I am doing just to watch
The desert has so many hidden gems.. this place is so cool!

I love the desert so much, thank you for showing this previously unkown treasure.
Another very interesting find. So glad you are bringing these to us again. Love how well you two interact!
The statue looking away was Judas.
The new Bethany is rockin! You go girl!
Interesting visit. Were the statues made from plaster?
I'm flabbergasted. I've driven right by here and no idea about this. Now I need to go back!
Great seeing you out and about sharing new sites for those who are interested.
Thank you for sharing this park with us!
I really love this one. What a cool place! Wonderful presentation.
I enjoyed the pacing of this episode. And the historical photos and documentation. Good stuff!
Ok who suggested the relaxing flute soundtrack?!?!
Glad you two are back!
Yaayyyyyy I'm so excited for future uploads.

WOW! That's a very interesting and beautiful place. Thanks for sharing this trip. Bethany looks a bit different this time...
Great video guys. Thank you for sharing things of spiritual interest as well as historical. As always your video production is excellent. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much!
I have been there in the early sixties what an amazing attraction. I have seen the little chapel as well.
You two do the best travel videos on the Tube. I like the fact that you share your adventures and show us places we could visit.
Another great one guys! Probably find content galore in the high desert 😄 Supposed to be home to lots of weird stuff 😄
Endless Oddities out there, for sure!
We lived in Yucca Valley for a short time but haven't heard of this particular place. Interesting.
I enjoyed my trip to this place- pretty amazing place.
Thank you two for the great content. You rock
Thanks!
Thank you so much! Your generosity truly means a lot to us.
Love this episode
north west of fort irwin there are a couple of locations named Apollo and Mars, have you explored these areas?

Did anybody else jump when the Last Supper statue "ripped"?
YES!
We will be in Palm Springs in April and definitely will see Desert Christ Park, thank you for showing it! I love your videos!
Hope you enjoy for your visit! Tell them we said, "Hello!" :)
Always look forward to what California shirt you are wearing.
It’s fun. Great collection.
Been to Pioneertown/Pappy’s?
You were very close.

Have u guys ever thought of checking out glen tavern inn? Spooky, interesting history.

Catching up on your channel. Thanks You. P.S. Could the 12 statues be the disciples with Judas turned away?
You should do an episode on "Crossroads of the World" in Hollyweird. I heard that they may demo some of it soon.

We're dating :) - Thank you for your kind words!
@@OddityOdysseys you are a nice couple ☺
👍🇨🇦
Maybe Antone was a Rasta, all the statues have dreadlocks 🌞✌
dunno, Rasta aren´t the only one with dreadlocks.
Its not big Deal. when you live there. They also do early sunrise on Easter
Are dogs allowed at the park?
To our knowledge - the park is pet-friendly & dogs are allowed as long as they're leashed and cleaned up after. :)
love you guys but at times your footage is blury, not clear. sad it was at the mosaic house also :(
I'm sorry, but... The big statue of Jesus looks like he's signaling a touchdown.
If J*sus lived today he would have been an atheist hippie❤
maybe 😂
