How would you go about fixing a light scratch made from metal on a fender that was ceramic coated ? What product could i apply to remove/minimize the scratch without hurting the ceramic coating as much.

+Staffordshire Car Care If your looking for a care cleaner I am interested. Bought myself a K7 jet wash and I clean my car once a week to a good quality. Use the tyre and trim gel and snow foam now getting into the waxing.You did a brilliant job on the ST ;)

3 days that one as its a 3 layer ceramic

Was this Gyeon Mohs+? Does Mohs+ require wet sanding to remove? I wonder what the course of action would be in the event of damage to a panel. I have the same car in the same colour and thinking of getting a coating.
Mohs+ would not require wet sanding to remove. With the Release of DuraFlex a flexible coating is more advantageous in comparison to overly tough coatings. the way the kinetic energy of impact on microscopic level is far less damaging when a coatings can rebound and disperse the energy.
If the panel was damaged and needed repaint it would be removed with a heavy cutting compound. While Gyeon is very tough and durable all coatings like this carry a low Micron count in comparison to PPF etc. the only time anything may need sanding is a major high spot if left to cure. Also, does the new 2018 formula only require one layer of base coat? I believe the old one needed 2 or 3?
Richard Hurr the new formula is a single layer for base and then a single top coat layer. And yes the old formula was 2-3 for base. Obviously Duraflex and Mohs+ are accredited professionals only.

Richard Hurr its very much a worthwhile investment, time saving, better gloss and keeps value on the vehicle. You'll save more longterm then you spend initially
Did you use the iron removing product on the paint before washing?
No,I prefer to wash and dry the vehicle then apply and rinse.
How much do you charge for a coating application like this? I can correct the paint myself just coating application scares me a little lol as i can only work outside
Sure. To supply and fit Durabead is 265 bud.
The stuff you sprayed on the wheels and paint is a decontamination chemical I assume ?
Yes.
Iron remover. It's an acid. Not to mess around with.
It's actually a nuetral PH and not an acid or alkaline based solution. It does however remove contamination that's not organic, like iron. You follow up with claying to remove organic matter.

They look like Rokblokz brand rally style mudflaps. Rally Armour make some as well, but not in that blue color.

I get the idea of this and if i had a £50k+ car i would consider it but not on something as cheap as a hot hatch. Top Job though!
Considering any vehicle will lose 3 times and more the cost of this process in value over the average ownership of a vehicle, this process reduces the depreciation over the period potentially giving back the cost of the treatment to the owner and retaining value in the vehicle regardless of its a hatchback or luxury vehicle.
+Staffordshire Car Care I know and agree nothing I love more than a car to be as clean as possible! But you try telling someone who is buying your car that it is a few grand more than all the others just because it's been cleaned better than the rest! That's why I mentioned it being better for more expensive cars and more so those that appreciate in value! Being spotless and maintained at this cleanliness can add thousands to super cars but maybe a few pounds here and there to a daily car :(
Driving Derby I understand but it's not the cleanliness of the car. That's only the preparation for the ceramic coating to be applied. The coating is what you are paying for. To preserve the look of the paint.
