He's playing the individual notes stacked within the chords in a way that "outlines" when the chords change from one to another. That's basically what all jazz playing is and why it sounds so "musical" to your ear. I mean really all great music does that but jazz is where it is absolutely emphatically stated.
@@alxtim8710 In jazz, the scale popular is Melodic minor (minor jazz) I think. But there's no a scale in particular to play jazz. Is just to play scales that fit in the chord progression, or even changing the scale each chord. Some times you add 1 or 2 notes out of the scale you are, to give some different color, at the end that's another scale, could be harmonic, chromatic or melodic and some others
i dont know if this is actually right (i'm also new to music theory) so is the chords: Dm9 > Dm9/A, (G13/E hammer on) > G13, G7b13??, Cadd9, A7b13? G7b9 ? edit: G13/E and then hammer on on the lower E string to G
Pentatonic is fine, just build off that. Learn patterns and arpeggios and where chord tones are on the shapes you are familiar with. Haechan focuses a lot of his playing around two pentatonic boxes
I'm just learning about music theory but I think I can answer your question. I believe this is the Nashville Number System. Basically those numbers denote the scale degree on which a chord is built. For instance, In the key of C major you have the chords C major as your one, Dm as your two, Em as your three, F as the four chord, G as the five, Am as your six, and B° as your seven chord, so if I said "Hey Daffa, let's play a 2-5-4-1 in C major", you would have to play a Dm - G - F - C progression. This is really useful when transporting from a key to another. Also you will probably see the numbers in roman numerals as well, I think it's exactly the same only that the minor chords are in lower case while the major ones are written in upper case, so instead of a 2-5-4-1 you'd have a ii V IV I. Hope this helps you a bit, sorry for my english.
Even tho I love pointy guitars, I can confirm that metal works pretty well on my 5420t. And high feedback makes solos a treat. Just wish the pickips were a little higher output. They were designed for jazz and country tho haha.
that guitar looks like it was crafted from God himself 🤤
