Fire alarms in Australia are easily triggered - at least take comfort in the knowledge that they are in good working condition especially in the event of a real emergency. Tap water is safe to drink - no need to buy bottled water. But if you still must, better to purchase them from Woolies or Coles. Aside from the Harbor Bridge, the Opera House, Chinatown and The Rocks, be sure to visit QVB (Queen Victoria Building) in the daytime - it’s very beautiful and has Old World vibes. Btw, don’t be surprised if they ask you if you are a “Filo” - that’s what they call Filipinos here in OZ. Enjoy and stay safe, JM.

that fire alarm is so sensitive. atleast i know its working and not just a display. when you're going in any establishment like malls supermarket etc. better know the fire exits. even in cinemas we advice the people that its better to seat near the exit because its dark in cinemas and people will panic and run to exits that will cause accidents. just sharing as a safety officer 😊
My gosh!! That’s insane! Lakas maka-panic attack ng fire alarm, something you don’t want to happen esp you are in a foreign land. So from now on always bring the important things sa on the go bag before sleeping, and make sure where is the fire exit of the hotel or plan b just in case a something like this happens. Getting prepared sa mga ganitong incident is a must. Thanks God it’s a false alarm.
JM, ingat din sa pagtawid at mga belongings, not because first world country safe na.
Kahit simpleng bagay naaappreciate mo.
Ang ginagawa ko is mag-inhale then count 10 seconds. Then exhale slowly. Ulitulitin mo lang habang nakapiiit ka. Then makakaramdam ka na ng antok. Yan kasi gawain ko eh 😊. I am looking forward sa nagastos mo AU. Like yung cover lang ng expenses is food at yung pamasahe sa train.Nagkasya ba yung nawithdraw mo? Thank you 😊
Dalawang beses pa lang ako nainis kay JM as in naiinis ako sa kanya habang nanunuod. First ay yung sa late mga cousins nya and second ay itong vlog na to dahil sa false alarm. BUT, I dont invalidate his feelings dahil authentic naman din yung rants nya at kahit sinong tao ay maiinis din naman tlga pero syempre mgrereflect sa viewers kaya maiinis din tayo sa kanya. Ganun naman dba? khit sa mga kontrabida, we love them as an actor pro nagagalit tayo sa role nila. So I think, same lang yun, we love him as a vlogger pro maiinis tayo sa scenario. For this vlog kasi, hindi ba dpat hndi lang yung rant na nagising ka kundi thankful din kasi pano kung totoong may sunog, porket walang sunog ay mgrant na at lipat agad hotel? I remember nung nsa govt pa ko, bigla din ngalarm tapos wala lumalabas dhil d nmn ngkkgulo, kumbaga aantayin pa tlga pag may usok o ngkkagulo. hahaha Tapos ending ay may nagsamgyup pala sa loob ng opisina during breaktime. HAHA Siguro a little advice, exit yung mga nbbwisit sa kanya dhil first of all, vlog nya ito or for JM kung nvideohan mo yung mga ganyan pwede mo naman iedit out pro kung true to yourself ay wag na pro mgdisclaimer ka after the vlog na lang kasi nsanay kami o mga viewers mo na happy lang kya sila lage nanunuod sayo.
Omg Jim You shouldn’t buy at the Sydney Convenience Store. World Square is only 2blocks down to your right. They have adaptor at the dollar shop for $5 and Cole’s Supermarket Timtam is only $3 water $1.50. That convenient Store is highway robbery! You poor thing
Firealarms are quite sensitive. This happened to our building a few times. One of the tenants was smoking in the stairwell which triggered the fire alarm. Enjoy your stay here in Sydney.
I've been living in Australia for 9 years, gustong gusto kong mabisita ang Sydney pero dahil sa mahal ng expenses, it is actually cheaper to fly to PH, Bali or Singapore than flying to Sydney from Perth! Even hotel accom, yung yung price ng 2-3 star hotel, 5-star na sa Manila or Boracay! 🤣

We feel kasama nyo kami sa every travel nyo. Take care po ❤
Hi from Sydney here. Convince store is pretty expensive. Coles, woollies or dollar shops are cheaper to buy adapter , Tim tam etc and also hotels should have adapter each rooms as a standard but if you are at Ibis not sure why it wasn’t provided 😢
Timtams sold at any inconvenience store is doubled the prie. Coles and Woolworths are two grocery giants all over Australia, where you can buy anything you need for a reasonable price. Water for 7 bucks is way too expensive.
Naka experience din ako ng fire alarm in the middle of the night sa bahay namin dito from 9th floor to 1st floor ang bilis kong nkababa sa hagdan. Nadala ko lang cp . Anlakas kasi ng alarm talaga . Then dina rin ako nkabalik ng tulog kagad . Ingat and enjoy sa tour mo JM.
The convenience store was a rip off You can get a liter of bottled water for 90cents from wiolsworth/coles Timtams are just 4 or if on sale 2… but yeah, thats the closest from your hotel hence the price…
Same remark sa Sydney! I was there June 29 - July 6.
Totoo Kasi ANG timtam Sa pinas gawa w Indonesia, medyo dry.madami sale s groceries...Saka mas masrap yun tim tam ndouble coated kesa Sa classic.mayiba IBA klase ng tim tam s Australia, icheck Mo s MGA groceries.
Hahaha para makatipid maglakad at mag train or bus. Also don’t buy sa convenience store dahil mas mahal talaga. Go to Coles, Woolworths, ALDI or Reject Shop
Cabs are a bit expensive in Syd. Learned it the hard way too. Best talaga is maglakad sa malalapit, pero kelangan sanayan. Ang natutunan ko recently, food and transpo is waaaaaay cheaper in Singapore compared to Sydney, pero shopping is fairly cheaper in Syd versus SG
I believe you can have the tap water, super safe to drink though like NZ. By October mageend siya which is their clock will go forward one hour. Ngayon 2hrs ahead sila satin, then by october 3hours na ulit. Kaya mabilis gumabi sa kanila. Just had an idea kc I am working with NZ client eh almost the same lang culture nila sa AU.
I'm sorry to hear about your experience, it must have been very stressful 😢 But you've handled it very gracefully, that's what I really admire about you. You stayed dignified and we're very proud of you. I always look forward to your videos, I'm a huge fan 😎🤩❣️
Be extra cautious when you include people’s faces in your vlog. It’s diferrent here in Aus…. Australian are private people. They might sue you if you include them in your vlog without their permission. Cheers! Enjoy sydney.
The law does not generally prevent the filming of someone in a public space without their consent. Australia doesn’t have a Bill of Rights that enshrines the right to privacy. If someone does not want to be filmed, they can put their hand over their face or cover it by some other means so they can’t be identified (which you have probably seen everyone from celebs to defendants do on TV). But they can’t demand your memory card, or to have the images or footage deleted.
Decency, empathy and respect to people who might not want to be captured in videos, WITH or WITHOUT laws. Just because it’s not in the “law” doesn’t mean we are entitled to disrespect privacy. Filming in public spaces where we can see people’s faces generally do not need to blur faces as long as we are not recording certain people. However, it is also polite if we ask permission first on close-up shots focusing on an individual especially if we are earning/monetizing the videos we posts. Japanese, for instance, most of them tend to be uncomfortable with cameras but some can’t confront the vlogger or they are just too “polite” that they will just keep it to themselves.
@@deatheatersdnm2904 the original comment mentioned suing. I replied that there is no law that will allow them to do that. I agree that vlogger shouldn’t put random people the subject of their vlogs without consent.

From NZ here. Planning to visit Sydney by myself so laking tulong nitong mga vids mo JM
I am from Perth WA and worked in hotels here and it's a common event for the fire alarm to go off not for fire reasons but usually due to guests smoking in the room or from shower steam.
:) Basta ako from time pa ng bora vlogs nung pandemic, love your videos. It was a break from the negativity nung pandemic times.
I pray you find the comments of your og subscribers that are still here as encoiraging.
:) More power to you!
that fire alarm is so sensitive. atleast i know its working and not just a display. when you're going in any establishment like malls supermarket etc. better know the fire exits. even in cinemas we advice the people that its better to seat near the exit because its dark in cinemas and people will panic and run to exits that will cause accidents. just sharing as a safety officer 😊
Thanks for the informative vlogs JM! Waiting for these Au vlogs!
True.
JM susundin namin itinerary mo pagpvisit namin sa Feb next year 😍
JM, ingat din sa pagtawid at mga belongings, not because first world country safe na.
Thanks!
JM, always bring a small and lightweight umbrella whenever you travel 😊
I really enjoy your vlog JM walang bahid ng kaartehan sa mga reactions mo. Kahit simpleng bagay naaappreciate mo.
Rip off ang benta nila dun. ❤
I agree; his travel vlog reactions are honest and spontaneous; not OA.
Yung taxi- it’s all part of the adventure. We learn in every travel we go. So, dont feel bad.
Hello JM kahit san ka magstay same lang din, nagtry ako magstay dyan sa backpackers hotel called Base, at 2x ko naranasan yang fire alarm, I was 3 mos pregnant that time and imagine dun sa taas ng bunk bed ako nakahiga natalon ko yun sa sobrang nerbyos. Dont know why it happens pero it means na lagi talaga sya nangyayari, centralize kasi ang supply nila ng gas dyan kaya if may madetect silang konting gas leak lang ganyan talaga nangyayari
Kapag di ako makatulog. Ang ginagawa ko is mag-inhale then count 10 seconds. Then exhale slowly. Ulitulitin mo lang habang nakapiiit ka. Then makakaramdam ka na ng antok. Yan kasi gawain ko eh 😊. I am looking forward sa nagastos mo AU. Like yung cover lang ng expenses is food at yung pamasahe sa train.Nagkasya ba yung nawithdraw mo? Thank you 😊
Ang taas ng cost of living sa Australia specifically in Sydney #2 in the world
Dalawang beses pa lang ako nainis kay JM as in naiinis ako sa kanya habang nanunuod. First ay yung sa late mga cousins nya and second ay itong vlog na to dahil sa false alarm. BUT, I dont invalidate his feelings dahil authentic naman din yung rants nya at kahit sinong tao ay maiinis din naman tlga pero syempre mgrereflect sa viewers kaya maiinis din tayo sa kanya. Ganun naman dba? khit sa mga kontrabida, we love them as an actor pro nagagalit tayo sa role nila. So I think, same lang yun, we love him as a vlogger pro maiinis tayo sa scenario. For this vlog kasi, hindi ba dpat hndi lang yung rant na nagising ka kundi thankful din kasi pano kung totoong may sunog, porket walang sunog ay mgrant na at lipat agad hotel? I remember nung nsa govt pa ko, bigla din ngalarm tapos wala lumalabas dhil d nmn ngkkgulo, kumbaga aantayin pa tlga pag may usok o ngkkagulo. hahaha Tapos ending ay may nagsamgyup pala sa loob ng opisina during breaktime. HAHA Siguro a little advice, exit yung mga nbbwisit sa kanya dhil first of all, vlog nya ito or for JM kung nvideohan mo yung mga ganyan pwede mo naman iedit out pro kung true to yourself ay wag na pro mgdisclaimer ka after the vlog na lang kasi nsanay kami o mga viewers mo na happy lang kya sila lage nanunuod sayo.
Omg Jim You shouldn’t buy at the Sydney Convenience Store. World Square is only 2blocks down to your right. They have adaptor at the dollar shop for $5 and Cole’s Supermarket Timtam is only $3 water $1.50. That convenient Store is highway robbery! You poor thing
Nasanay sa Japan mate..7/11 or any convenience store sa japan mas mura opposite here in oz 3x ang presyo
Looks like I know where you are. NASA Wentworth Avenue po kayo? Malapit Sa Philippine Consulate Sydney?
Dami bashers. Good vibes lang community namin with JM. Bakit kayo nandito.
I’m sad to see many ppl commenting bad things to JM’s vids.
Bili ka na ng detachable adaptor sa ACE hardware na good for all countries na kaysa bibili ka per country. Nasa 250 pesos lang non bili ko.
Water at grocery $0.80
Timtams usually on sale around $2.50
Adaptor that type is just $1-2 😊
For those who will travel everywhere, first on your must have is universal adapter.
25:08 Kyut and friendly nung server sa Andersons ice cream ❤ ang nice ng smile 😊 kilig much 😊
Next time the fire alarm goes off, please drop everything and go. Don’t be a casualty!
Firealarms are quite sensitive. This happened to our building a few times. One of the tenants was smoking in the stairwell which triggered the fire alarm.
Enjoy your stay here in Sydney.
Weather is unexpected it change from time to time so be ready always bring umbrella and thick jackets take care!
wag po kayo bumili sa convenience store... doon po kayo sa woolworths (kung tubig or pagkain) or JB Hifi (pag gadgets)
Try to buy sa Coles or Woolworths mga supermarkets yon mahal sa convenience store
enjoy the experienced jm!!!! I'm glad your innovating sa mga trips mu more kudos and subscribers pa sayu I am happy for u!!!! ❤❤❤ ingatz sa mga trips mu pa !!! tyvm for sharing this!!!
From your hotel naglakad ka papuntang museum station, from museum station nag train k to townhall, sayang bayad kc less than 5minute walk lang ang townhall to museum.iikot p kc ung train s circular quay kc magkaiba sila ng line kea parang malayo hehehe. Total time na ginugol mo papunta s darling harbour is more kesa kung naglakad k,and mahal p ang pamasahe hehe. Sayang hndi k namen nakasalubong s city nung nandito k. 😊
Been watching you since and I love watching your travel vlogs sobrang informative.😊
Hi Kuya JM! Love your Sydney vlog so much❤, its part of travelling where ever you go. If you love the vibe of Sydney, you will feel like you are in London too! Australia is under the Queen of England! So you will feel the English British environment. We love your Sydney vlog Kuya!! show us more about Sydney!!❤ 🎉❤
We feel kasama nyo kami sa every travel nyo. Take care po ❤
Tap water in Australia is drinkable.
Hi from Sydney here. Convince store is pretty expensive. Coles, woollies or dollar shops are cheaper to buy adapter , Tim tam etc and also hotels should have adapter each rooms as a standard but if you are at Ibis not sure why it wasn’t provided 😢
Hello everyone happy watching
Fyi Australian accent is similar to British accent. We're used to American accent and there might be a little struggle understanding them.
HAHAHAHA
Make sure you try smoky cravings at Potts points if you’re craving Pinoy food!! Also try outta coffee for one of the best matchas
Same observation.
The convenience store was a rip off
You can get a liter of bottled water for 90cents from wiolsworth/coles
Timtams are just 4 or if on sale 2… but yeah, thats the closest from your hotel hence the price…
The taxi driver over charged you for the trip from Darling Harbour to your hotel. It's only a short distance and should have not cost that much.
Same remark sa Sydney! I was there June 29 - July 6.
Totoo Kasi ANG timtam Sa pinas gawa w Indonesia, medyo dry.madami sale s groceries...Saka mas masrap yun tim tam ndouble coated kesa Sa classic.mayiba IBA klase ng tim tam s Australia, icheck Mo s MGA groceries.
I love your authenticity JM. keep vlogging. hope to meet you soon. love yah❤
you should buy a universal travel adaptor. it works in any country.
Kaloka ang day 1 mo pala sa Australia, JM and glad you are safe. 😄 Stay safe always, fam JM. 💜
Safe to drink from the tap yung water sa Sydney ❤ try mo muna ng ko it tapos kung wala naman reaction, why not try? 😊
Hahaha para makatipid maglakad at mag train or bus. Also don’t buy sa convenience store dahil mas mahal talaga. Go to Coles, Woolworths, ALDI or Reject Shop
If I’m not mistaken, Timtams here in the Philippines is made in Indonesia…that’s why iba ang lasa ng Timtams sa OZ.
Shorter talaga ang daytime during winter 8am sunrise and 4:45 sunset
Ingat po kayo.. Yehey new tour!!❤❤❤Nakakawala po kayo ng pagod
Alicia Silverstone era of JM 🎉
Overcharged yun. Kc your a tourist kaya siguro pinaikot ikot ng driver. Normally it will cost less than $15.00
I'm sorry to hear about your experience, it must have been very stressful 😢 But you've handled it very gracefully, that's what I really admire about you. You stayed dignified and we're very proud of you. I always look forward to your videos, I'm a huge fan 😎🤩❣️
Thank you so much!
Parang ang mahal nung TimTam! You can get that for a dollar pag sale sa Coles or Woolies.
This is for you ,
Under Australian law, you are generally entitled to film in a public space without anyone's consent.
@@deatheatersdnm2904
We just reply your comment about he will get sued LOL. So don't be feeling Alam mo lahat dito sa Australia😅
Nag charge b?
Next time you should go to darling square which is a few mins walk from betty burgers :)
