Under the Dewey Decimal system, the 100s are philosophy and psychology, and 189 is Medieval Western philosophy. A rather appropriate place to find a book titled "Perfection: The Impossible Pursuit" in a place called Canterlot.

Wow this in the moondancer episode reference and acknowledges the events of season 1 episode 1 what a huge reference
Its still interesting to think that when twilight left canterlot in season 1 she ruined Moondancer's life & made Dusty page's life better at the same time.

I would have liked to see a spinoff featuring moondancer and her adventures and maybe her own group of friends with the inclusion of my favorite Pony Derpy and their version of Rarity in Fluer De Lis
@@mikechicago6200 That would be cool. Shame it will never happen now that hasbro has shifted to G5. Though the odds of it happening before G5 were equally as low.

One thing I like about this episode is that Moondancer makes yet another appearance, a short one but still great to see her. It’s a shame that Saffron Masala and Coriander Cumin didn’t make a cameo in the Tasty Treat scene though.
Yeah I wish Saffron had gotten a cameo.
Lesson always return your books on time or you will get in trouble I’m glad we get to meet moondancer and I’m glad Twilight learned her lesson

Ithink one of the coolest perts of this episode and just of season 9 in general. Its always nice to see moondancer, and to get in the tasty treat again, but did you recognize a lot of the old ponies? A few of AJs family was there, and so was that same pony who told the story of sonambula. The pony who Sweetie bell called “too old” in the song, and had hotts for orchard blossom. sure Ive seen a few others before too, but can’t place them by episode.
I get the feeling with Twilight experience in because I recollect a couple of times where I had a library book late and I feared for the repercussions but luckily it was solved in my case and I was able to pay the fine and thankfully in Chicago I don't have to pay any more late fees do I keep returning my books just before it expires
Honestly, the comedy was on POINT the entire episode

if you notice Twilight's magic in the flashback is its original grayish-purple instead of the pinkish-purple it became later, now that is attention to detail :)
I'm glad that the librarian Pony got to experience life because while she was good at her Library job she was stuck there for most of her life and you really should experience it since as the old saying you only live once

Yosh Derpy-Chan and Moondancer
I love how Derpy is getting more speaking lines, she always makes me smile in those moments.😁
I couldn't imagine having a library fine that grew every minute a book was late.
Its scary to even think about.
I’ve been down that road before. Lost a library book from school and had to pay for it. Not fun.
I agree, that's why i don't use library books in fact i sometimes i wonder why people in real life even go to libraries anymore, when they can just read what they need too online.

Awesome to see Moondancer again, but a missed opportunity to not feature Saffron Masala and her dad reappear in the Tasty Treat.
Dusty Pages and Granny Smith are awesome elder ponies, my favorites of the show!

Ngl, this isn't really one of my favorite season 9 episodes, but i did enjoy it and it was good to hear Derpy talk again just as it was to see unicorn Twilight one last time even though it was it just in a flashback and i was especially happy to see Moondancer again i really wish she made more appearances in the show in fact i think she only made like 4 or 5 appearances, but anyway those are my thoughts.
These kinds of Twilight episodes always fascinate me because we explore more of Twilight’s past, before the events of episode 1 (similar to “Amending Fences”). And I really like the moral of the story as well. Good reaction guys!
