I agree 100% with this analysis of the Caitlin effekt. 👍 (I started to look only because of Caitlyn, now I see all the girls in Fever. They are all so talented and nice persons ❤️)
“They weren’t just playing basketball, they were creating art on the hardwood” 9:15 . When you said that in your voiceover, I whooped with excited relief because I have been trying to put into words why watching these ladies play has awakened in me an enjoyment of sports that I haven’t had in decades. Your analysis is excellent always as is your voice for broadcasting. Thank you!
The catalyst of the Fever's growth in terms of Team play is Caitlin Clark. Clark made the master's stroke to ignite the hidden taken if Boston, Mitchell and Hull. Kudos to Clark for a job well done. I wish you ladies all the best to get the a championship this next season. Cheers!!
The kindling was stacked and ready to make a campfire. Along came Clark, the strike-anywhere match, and lit that firewood ablaze. She was the catalyst, the primer, the awakening for the rest of the team. They caught that fire, that intensity, that drive to succeed, and ran with it - the whole Fever team becoming more than the sum of its parts. This is how champions are born: they don't enter the world that way, they are transformed by others into the best they can be.
I wish WNBA would get their stuff together and put these four girls together again what a team they could have. You can tell they all love the game and play so well together
12:56 I was there for that game on September 8th. It was my first WNBA game (I hope to attend again). What I didn't gather from the video was when the Fever were down by 16 points. Yes, down by 16 points. But we, the crowd, didn't give up on them. And they didn't give up on themselves either. AB was shooting hot throughout (30 points total). LH's 3-pointers were electrifying. And they came back and tied in regulation. Overtime was incredible. What a game!
They need to add a tall and agile player not just for scoring but moreso on defense and rebounding department. A player that will help AB do the chore.
Those 3 from that Fab Four should continue contributing so CC can have more space and do her thing. Mitchel should always free herself from her guard while Lexie will be a decoy but still should always be ready if those 2 we're heavily guarded... and lastly Boston will box out her guard away from the paint if possible for a clear potential drive on any of the 3, or a possible power rebound if something went wrong. But to do more damage to their opponents, they'll be needing 1 more to do the perfect Triangle Offense and Defense plays... because they need to adopt this effective method for the next season.
I've watched a couple of games of the semi-finals and finals and as good as these four are they are going to have to up their game defensively to be able to compete for a title. The Minnesota Lynx are monsters on defense and that's why they're in the finals. The NY Liberty have all the fire power of a great offensive team plus pretty good defense and that's why they're in the finals.
I agree but I would have loved to see the sun play the fever instead of try and take out a player to win and the refs do there job but sides should have insisted that play be reviewed at the time it happened
Elliott Hill will take over as Nike CEO on Oct. 14. The longtime company veteran, who's coming out of retirement for the position, will have his work cut out for him since Nike is struggling on multiple fronts. But an easy way for Hill to engender some goodwill among Nike's customer base, tap a massive market of female athletes and fans, and hearken a new era for the brand is to put Clark center stage where she belongs. The next WNBA season won't begin until May, but that should give Nike's new management team time to formulate a compelling strategy around Clark and get her signature shoe out by next season. Doing so would be a slam dunk for the brand, for Nike stock, and for Clark.

Krauskopf stated that they need a big. I think she meant a bigger big. I have said before on other posts, I would love to see Cardoso with them. I think she is good and could be a great, with the right coach and teammates. She had brilliant moments in the NCAA championship. I don't really see it happening, but who knows?
Cardoso is such a good fit but if I were the Sky, I'd rather trade Reese than Cardoso and just build around Cardoso. Unless of course she wants out, refuses to play w/o salary, and demands a trade because of all the Sky drama
@@BasketballTopStories Who, with any sense, wouldn't rather trade Reese? Who, with any sense, would really want her and her drama? I admit that she could be a real player, if she would drop the BS and just play ball and do a little learning.
It would be really interesting who the Fever will protect during the Golden State Valkyries draft - the Fab 4 are sure locks but who will be the 2 more they will protect? Temi? Dantas? Grace? One thing for sure - Nalyssa has to go!
@@BasketballTopStories I say protect Temi, and Dantas. Leave Nalyssa Smith and her sorry assed play for the Valkyries to take if they want her, if not trade her away and get something for her in return. Maybe Kate Martin from the Aces???

they're not playing together this season?
Never watched women’s (or much men’s) basketball. Thanks to these four I now do. Wish there were more pairings like this in all sports!

Cardoso would ironically be the perfect fit. But Sky will never let go of her unless she wants out of all the Reese drama
@@BasketballTopStories dude i cannot fathom a Sky player being on the Fever or any team w CC. yikes that sounds like a nightmare.

The only person this team need is a coach that can use the individual talent and ability effectively...

If the Fever can start playing some defense they'll be unstoppable.
