Attitude is everything in sports. Kelsey Mitchell is having an outstanding season and making the most of her opportunity to shine (Hull and Boston also). Mitchell brings speed that is exciting to watch. Smith is a classic example of what not to do as she sits in the corner, sucking on her thumb, and bringing her girlfriend's toxic attitude to the team. Her play is average and inconsistent at best. It will be an interesting playoffs for the first time in a long time as people tune in to see just how far a revitalized and energized Fever team can go. Mitchell deserves a long run

Clark reminds me of a WNBA version of Magic Johnson- the man who helped EVERY teammate around him un-leash their own greatest potentials.

Kelsey has been waiting for a guard like Catlin. And the awesome thing is. We get to watch them grow. This is their 1st season together. Imagine how well they will be playing after about 2 years. If we are lucky; they will both stay. #KM/CC🔥

Aja's claim to the MVP is just her scoring ability, which is not very much above that of Caitlin (27 - 24 average). But Caitlin has so much more on and off court: excellent court vision and generalship, superb passing ability, elevating the skill of her Fever team mates, transforming the Fever team from bottom dweller to play off participants, and most of all: drawing attendance, attention, gate receipts and increased interest and awareness of the WNBA. Take away Aja from the league, and nothing much happens. Take away Caitlin, and the WNBA will sink back to the stupor it was in before Caitlin came into the scene. Now, to whom should you award the MVP title?

The discussion at about 10:00 between Kelsey and a coach or trainer or whatever, that is hitting on the real key of what makes CC a great play maker. Clark passes to the open space and expects her team mate to have the b-ball IQ to recognize the open space and get there. It just makes everything she does look so smooth. I think part of Boston's early season troubles was UCONN and women's basketball in general has never played that way. It was run the play as drawn, excellence in execution style of play. Boston has shown she has the bball IQ for it since then and has dramatically improved. But Mitchell has benefited from this the most. It seems like she has the same sort of spatial reasoning as Clark, she has just been stuck in the old WNBA style of play. Playing like this just makes everything look so much easier, so much smoother, and just more fun to watch. Playoffs are going to be hard, but Fever are just about the hottest team in the league. Every round has potential be tough. I can't really see them taking Liberty in the finals, but I think they have a chance against anyone else.

I know people have strong feelings about Caitlin Clark, one way or the other. But if it wasn't for Clark I would never have known how good A'ja Wilson or Breanna Stewart are. And I have become a Fever fan not just because of Clark, I really like Mitchell and Boston. I heard Mitchell is going to be a fee agent next year. I hope she stays. The WNBA would be even better if it wasn't like a soap opera all the time. It's like watching the Kardashians, with a little more racism.

What I See's is CC makes her teammates better "!! She is the reason's all her teammates" put their capabilities into another level '! And upgraded their games"!!
