I appreciate you at least saying it before (possibly) doing it. But now all you've done is made me panic-download all of the relevant videos. ("yt-dlp" kids, it's a great tool.) Because this is how "Lost Media" starts, and I know there's been times where I randomly remembered a video I watched and liked, and it's just "gone", with no hope of ever seeing it again.
I'd also say you should spend some time figuring out what you really want to do. You don't necessarily have to private/delete/whatever old videos. You can also create up to 5 (I think?) alt accounts in UA-cam land if you feel like you want to make some things random/niche but also have a proper channel dedicated to whatever. Over time as I've shifted between what kinds of content I want to promote, be associated with, etc. I made more channels just to spread it out better, categorically. But also, if you look at any really long running UA-cam channel, they almost inevitably have crap way down in the depths they effectively abandoned (but not removed) a long time ago that there was no reason to remove, but it's so old it almost never comes up anymore.
It's up to you in the end. I've been very fickle and pedantic with my stuff and really messed with what few viewers I had by moving stuff around a lot, but at least I'm happy with how things are, with minimal "eternal loss."
