Just the way he bowed before stepping on the mats you knew he was a nut case
If someone bows like that im gonna hope im wearing a mouthpiece
🤣🤣
Spaz points 10!
Yep, immediate red flag. I get the excitement in the moment though.
Dead give away that it was SPAZ TIME!
He didn’t need to train technique, he just saw red and went right into kill mode. The video cut short but obviously he ended up winning…
You think the spaz guy won, that's what I got from your comment?

Could tell literally the second he bowed the way he did who the spaz would be.
Same lmaooooo
*aggressively slaps thighs*
Not even. The way he was shifting his feet vs the other guy standing still gave it away maybe 40% for me, and then the bow was the other 60
Lol seriously that was what gave it away for you? Watch the video again
Get some!
Half of the amplitude of those takedown came from him spazzing into them.
Surely that's Clay Guida's long lost brother, no? Dude rockin some Clay energy right there... Lol

Just gonna go into a deep depression cuz I can’t even spaz out with the technical precision this kid displayed.
I was at this tournament. The dude doing the throwing practices Mongolian wrestling. He's a legit badass. But watching that dude spaz that day you would have sworn he was being electrocuted.

Love the fact that the calm, technical guy completely tooled the spazz.
“There are people who are excitable by nature and allow themselves to become angry for the most trivial of reasons. Judo can help such people learn to control themselves. Through training, they quickly realize that anger is a waste of energy, that it has only negative effects on the self and others.”

I didn't see him get the W though. Probably not ready to submit a wild guy that doesn't follow "the rules" for "civilized" jiu-jitsu sports matches.
@@losfromla1480 True. I kind of want to roll with that spaz kid and teach him a lesson about calming the hell down.
@@jtstevenson81 I saw in other comments that the "spaz" won with a flying heel hook. So you'd better bring your A game and your tenacity.
@@losfromla1480 Well, if you knew anything about BJJ you would know that heel hooks are illegal in the white belt division, so I can confidently say that the "other comments" you read were either the spaz himself or his friends.

Love that 1/2 squat position with arms flailing about. Looks like an angry crab that just got thrown in a bucket.
Might be his first comp. Hey, at least he's going for it, taller, more athletic opponent with more experience and he's still not giving up. Respect.
Awesome throws though.
Exactly!
Thank you for your positive take. Respect.
We experience a lot of firsts in life and unless someone's 12 years old or younger, there isn't one where that motor is ok. He's the kind of guy who gets someone hurt because he's out of control, not because he's skilled.
More athletic? Clearly the real athlete was the one with all the fancy moves
@@___Truth___ Yeah because calling yourself "truth" on the internet is so grown up lol. You are probably the guy in the video.

Y'all laugh.....but I know I'm not the only one who secretly has a loss like this on my record when I was a white belt 😂😂😂
Bro there's literally only one guy at every gym that spazzes at this magnitude and we all can't be the one lol.
White belt here. I know I'm going to get wrecked in 80% of my rolls. My goal is to make the wreckage as dignified as possible. No spazzing.

That's the most exhausting 31 sec video I've ever seen.
Can't tell if the guy was trolling or actually rolls like a cat in a bath tub.
Brooo….Exactly 😹
I actually think he was trolling and doing it for TikTok or similar social media. Just sign up for a tournament, buy a white belt gi and you're ready for your social media fans.
haha
Goes to a jiu jitsu tournament and proceeds to do no jiu jitsu
This video ends too early… the spaz won with a flying heel hook shortly after the filming ended
Plot twist: The match was actually over and everyone else had left, so that guy was just heel hooking himself.
I believe the flying part.
That's what I thought, the spaz wins but it goes against the narrative of him being a joke to show that.
@@losfromla1480 R/Wooshh
This comment was a joke. It was sarcastic. Most likely what I imagine happened is the Spazzy guy lost by quite some way as they clearly didn't know what to do and were by my count at least 4 points down (not sure if the other dude got points for mount) and on bottom position with the other guy clear of his guard.
You don't spaz like that as a white belt, get tooled like that, and win matches. Most likely the video turned off because it ended up being a tedious white belt match at that point and the other guy just lay on top of him and ground out the win.
@@humann5682 oh. I didn't know. They didn't put the /s tag.
This young man is just in need of a qualified instructor. He doesn’t know what he doesn’t know. He should be a little more self aware but he is a white belt and he may only have a month or two of training also.
I wasn’t probably much less a spaz when I started. I feel sorry for my early training partners!!😊😊
He's the kinda guy who "taught himself" from watching UFC and his uncle was a secret commando who showed him moves "too deadly" for regular BJJ.
@@humann5682 his uncle was josh fabia
Being a white belt has nothing to do with his lack of self awareness. Hes just unaware that hes a spaz. Or maybe he thinks hes being intimidating. Who knows
He has several stripes on his white belt... he's been practicing BJJ for far too long to be this helpless
You never know who’s going to show up at a tournament. I was refereeing a tournament about 16 years ago and a traditional jujitsu black belt shows to challenge my instructor, Carlos Machado. Of course Carlos was organizing the tournament and didn’t probably even have a gi available so this guy jumps on the mat with Rafael Lovato and last about 10 seconds. Which I thought was about five seconds too long but I don’t think Rafael had time to really warmup.
The way he bowed killed me 😂
My first day of BJJ will be in a competition!

The grappling equivalent of when someone throws wild haymakers and gets straight-punched in the face.
“To Calmly Face the Spaz” should be a book title. The guy throwing the spaz should write it.
you got to tire them out, some are hard to get a hold on to, but they usually cant spaz out with the same intensity for more than 3 minutes
why did it have to end?!? this was solid gold!
Because the spaz wins
@@losfromla1480 ha, that would be a great twist!
You could see how excited he was even before the match.
Crikey ...... I have been de-crowned. His opponent handled it beautifully. Kept his hips away and judo took him down into the next dimension.
He showed up. That puts him ahead of 90% of the world's chuckle-heads.
Brilliant.
We’ve all met one. If they don’t accidentally hurt you they are always the most fun to roll with.
The way he bowed 😂😂
That hip toss was perfect good job man
you have to love the fact in 2022 you still get nokia 3210 quality videos
More of this footage, please!
Look up Lavelle marshal
When his coach said to "keep moving" this guy took that idea and just fucking ran with it.
_ran_
HAHAHAHA - honestly I think I would just walk out if someone even came onto the mat with that much energy agaist me in a comp.
Love how the opponent keeps it cool and nails the takedowns
Also seems to be one of the bigbest mismatch in the history of mistmatches
It is. As I understand it, it goes like this. The winner is Lavell Marshal who was a national Shuai Jiao champion and had started taking judo at the time of the video to add to his grappling vocabulary and was told to enter the competition as a white belt by his instructor since he was a beginner in judo, he did (to my knowledge) attempt to explain to people at the event that he’s not a beginner but they didn’t take his shuai jiao credentials as meaning anything because it was just some silly Chinese wrestling to them. All that led to this awful mismatch where he’s just trying to apply his new judo and stop this guy from injuring either of them.
He is currently in Mongolia training Mongolian Bokh wrestling and makes some educational content about it, it’s really interesting stuff, they’re crazy tough out there.
What makes me lol is the fact hsi coach and team mates were probably laughing their asses off when he said "Hey I'm going to do a comp...."
@@chancedean5341 Damn... poor white belt had to fight a Chinese wrestling beast hahaha, thanks for the context.
Poor guy was fighting for his life lmao
I could almost hear the “RRREEEEE!!” pulsating from the video itself
The bow I was dying 😂😂
It's because he doesn't have enough experience yet. Once he gets that experience he'll slow down and be more measured about what he's doing. It's always fun to watch. I was in Jujitsu for 10 years but didn't have the guts to try tournaments.
You didn't compete once? It cant be that scary to you
Well knowing the person above he didn't really grow out of the spazzing unfortunately...
I do competitions and it’s not bad. In fact I popped my floater rib last night at training. In two weeks I’m still doing competition. More motivation to not let super heavy on top.
I’m 6’1 285 pretty solid. So 300lb on my ribs right now will suck. Game plan is don’t fuck up 😂😂
@@shawnmartin1306 Right on, bro. Yeah I'm 45 now and haven't practiced since 2009. Maybe someday I'll get back into it. Not sure yet.
Smart guy. One time I competed, got a medal but tore my meniscus. Def not worth it 😂
OMG I think that was spaz Magee!! Thanks to a white belt spaz in 2003 I wound up quitting BJJ for 18 years. Nothing like getting really badly injured in front of your future wife trying to show how safe BJJ is.
Your fault for getting hurt. You've no one to blame but yourself for being weak.
@@losfromla1480 Haha, exactly.
Didn’t know what a spaz was but clicked anyway.
Quite confident on what it is now, great example.
He’s a little confused but he’s got the spirit
LOL. Well bless his heart. He was bound and determined to give it all he had. Unfortunately, all he had was spaz.
When you order Clay Guida on wish
Looks like someone told him "just keep moving around- don't just stand still or he'll get you." and he REALLY took it to heart! (Really looks like the videos where a random dude will walk into a gym and try to box someone, and then is easily shown he isn't skilled).
Announcer: "Competitiors report to Mat Number 1 please , your match is about to begin"
_This guy cranks up BoonDock Saints soundtrack on his iPod_
This guy: "IT'S GO TIME!!!!"
For some context, the not spazz is Lavell Marshall a Chinese wrestling (shuai jiao) champion. Pretty sure he let the tournament coordinators know about his experience, but none of them heard of shuai jiao so they thought he was just some kung fu guy. Poor feller had no idea.
I thought he looked familiar...
Thats awesome
Tbf he was the perfect guy to match up with Spazzy Jeff then. If ever a guy needed rag dolled, it was that guy.

The real ones know the King of the Spazzes title belongs to Bath Salts Ben on Tyler Spangler’s UA-cam channel.

i havent been doing jiu jitsu that long…around 4 months…..and i cant really judge this guy based on 30 seconds but my experience has been….people “spaz” because they lack the knowledge of what they are doing and the only way to be competitive is to be completely unpredictable and bring a “spazy’ energy to the fight…

When i trained years ago there was 1 guy who did that, we were all white belts and I had only been training a few months and when i got mount on him he freaked the fuck out.
I had to tell him just relax we are just training I wasnt going to hurt him. It was kinda funny but dude was scared.

Why tf would people do that?? 😆
Also calls all his gym mates his "brothers" on social media, despite having only started BJJ 2 weeks ago, and has started talking about how he'd just double leg Tyson Fury and tap him out in a street fight, despite not being able to double leg/tap the 90lb asthmatic kid who started the same time he did.
Getting paired with a Judoka is really unlucky when you fight like that. Prepare for slam city 😂😂😂
The guy isn't a judoka, he is a Shuai Jiao practitioner.
Legend has it the spazmanian devil is still spazzing out to this day
The judges all turn their heads when he 'bows' 🤣
To be fair only one guy was using Jiu jitsu!
Clay Guida sure has lost a lot of his talent. You ragdolled him man, way to go!
Aw you beat me to it!
I once wrestled a kid that did this. My coach pulled me aside in a break and told me to fireman's carry him good and it would put an end to his spaz attack. Boy was he right as soon as he hit the mat he went limp lmao
I love how you can tell right away at the beginning of the video which one is the spaz
It was sooo refreshing to actually see throws instead of take downs in a bjj contests. This is the way
Looks like Judo not BJJ, based on the wazari call by the ref haha.
I need more of this
That’s how it’s done man. Skill vs aggression
To be fair, a white belt can’t beat a brown belt by playing it casual, so might as well try going berserk and see what happens.
I don't think the other guy was a brown belt, it looks like a belt to allow the ref to score the players easier
Bath salt Ben is better
Legend has it he's still spazzing to this day..
The equivalent of being stuck in 1st gear revving as hard you can to keep up with the other cars
Other dude is definitely a judo player. He even goes for a judo pin after the last throw. Poor guy probably entered the comp to work on his newaza n got stuck with this mess

That dudes coach should NOT have allowed him to compete. Awesome takedowns from the other guy, however.
Why? It doesnt really matter and besides its only 30 seconds video so hard to judge his ability. It could have been his first competition, I hope he can learn and carry on the journey
@Tom Sheppard why you ask? He is a danger to his opponent and himself. Obviously has no clue what he is doing.
