Im so happy they did my boi justice! The narrative is so cool as an idea, being an old failed prototype with its unfinished and mechanical details. Just wish he wasn’t killed off so we could have seen more of the Mobile Suit!
Doing decals on it right now, it truly is an amazing kit. I got lucky enough to find one in kyoto in a random hobby shop the last day of my trip on April 27th. It was my hope to get it for list price before getting home!
Calling it now, this might actually get the A-B-packs. Why else would the stand adaptor be just a hole at such a weird angle at the back? and even hidden behind a folding panel.
When the shield popped up in the beginning assembly bit, I swear the shield looked like it had a happy kitty face before the lower section was placed.😂

Yeah. I’m super pumped for this 3rd MG Sinanju Stein kit as well especially since the latest Stein Narrative kit was released in 2019... Not to mention how excited I am about the fact that this will be the 5th MG Sinanju Kit… BUT this is the 1st to Actually Color Separate the Sleeves!!! And at a certain point, you gotta ask how many years straight will there be only Ver.Ka MGs drip fed to us now, since RG, MGSD, (and MGEX sorta?) have seem to have taken top priority?
Totally seems like it’ll be worth buying this kit a 5th time… because those sleeves! I mean come on! Why go with an original designed Ver.Ka, when you can modify the Sinanju for Ver.Ka release a 3rd time..? And literally saying the selling point for this kit is the color separation on the Sleeves, which they did on the RG already…. But yeah, why not sell a 5th ver. of an existing MG kit based off of that alone… it’s not like we only get 2 legit MG kits a year if we’re lucky…. And that sadly seems to include the lovely MGSD line, which is Screwed up. I love the MGSD line, but where the hell are all the 1/100 models at???
With the small number of MG regular release kits, it’s really a must to grab these even if you don’t like the mobile suit itself. I didn’t like the movie too, but I preordered this anyway.
@MechaGaikotsu actually the white part that you take out on the front skirts actually needs to flipped and put into the opposite skirt backwards then put the psycho plate with the peg in after. Its really confusing in the manual but that's what they want you to do. this way you don't have a random piece laying around incase you take out the psycho plates later actuall

having an MG Sinanju from 2012 production and now buying this kit I can say that this kit was a really 'rock solid'. everything from the design and stability was so strong and reliable. previously in my MG Sinanju non-verka sometimes the shoulder spikes popped off, it can stand without a bandai stand but MG Narrative ver ka had soooo much stability in standing. it is a massive upgrade in gunpla in my perspective of owning older ones.
@@MechaGaikotsu The Action Base that comes in MG kits is the Action Base 13. Bandai considers it a premium product, hence why they made the decision for it to only be included in certain kits, which is a shame as it's pretty much the best Action Base they've made.
All MG's forward from now needs to copy this one idea from the MG Narrative Gundam at least. The hands options,I swear to god Bandai actually did something really great, fixed posed nice looking fists, and good decent movables.

Lil trick with the Nu ver Ka's funnels: only install the lil connecting arms that are absolutely necessary, leave the rest out. This cuts down the weight enough to make them totally viable to stay connected on their own without being a floppy mess.
