Hi, im new to fl, and really wanted to make piano melodies, and ur video just cuts the bs, and goes straight to the chase, but my sampler just does not have sound, i dont know why, ive seen all off the buttons and nobs, but it doesn't even go to the mixer, and the other sounds are playing just fine, can someone help!!
There are 1 of 3 reasons for this.
1. You don’t have a sample loaded. Either open FL Keys or a piano one shot from the browser on the left.
2. You have the sampler muted. The green light next to all the samplers means the sound will come out. If the light next to her sampler isn’t lit, it’s muted. Click it to light it up and it’ll play whatever sound is loaded.
3. The mixer track it’s assigned to is muted. Go into the mixer and make sure none of the channels are muted.
You may have to look up additional tutorials to do this but they’re very simple, those are the most common reasons why sound doesn’t come out

@@franciscovitorino8602 the grand preset is good but I never use fl keys. Use the grand pianos from FLEX. I buy a lot of VST's so I went from virtual grand piano and piano in blue, to addictive keys to keyscape & piano V. I got a lot of piano VST's. But let me know which one works

i followed every single step in this video and it won't highlight the scales for me, after i drag a note all the way till the end of 9 and hit ctrl L it stretches them out and thats about it. i hit piano roll again and nothing is highlighted.
Go to my website & download the scale helpers, they were made after this video. But you have to make sure ghost notes are turned on. In the piano roll, click the arrow next to the wrench in the upper left hand corner, go to helpers & click “ghost channels”
I still dont understand why put down the scale stamp when theres a view scale option, when click on the scale you want viewed all the gray areas are places that arent in the scale and all other areas are...so im at a loss at why anyone needs to stamp a scale in to follow a scale with the view scale option ????

You That guy bro. i know this but it reaffirms that I I'm not the only one that is separating the melody. You don't know where the hook at on a lot of these beats and that's important.
extremely important. I gave that feedback to another producer recently, the beat was good but there weren't any beat drops, any added instruments, nothing. just a perpetual loop. gotta have some variation in there even if its slight.
