Thanks for the video! Many years ago I learned Tenor Saxophone (I was young, full of energy and ignorance, so at the same time I was learning Guitar and Piano 🤪). Just an amateur player, you know, no ambition or long term plans. I guess you also know how much satisfaction you get learning music, and for me it was more than enough.
I knew about Sopranos listening to John Coltrane, so I bought one and practiced for some time. Tenor is my saxophone, but sopranos are very special instruments and their sound is so cool. I remember my feelings during that experience: some way it pushed me to be more expressive and try new things, but all those nice feelings came together with some frustration trying to stay tuned. You have to be very precise to avoid being constantly out of tune, so dude, you have all my respect 👌
Thanks again for sharing your music!
@@torpezno Thank you very much for your long and interesting comment and your kind encouragement!...🙏🙏🙏 My Saxophone was the Alto...🥰🥰🥰 Then I bought a cheap Tenor to see, but too heavy for my taste and requires a lot of breath...😬😬😬 I finally tried a Soprano...☹️☹️☹️ Since then, I am frustrated almost every day...😢😢😢 Progress is slow... but it is always a pleasure to learn and advance little by little...😊😊😊 Thank you again!... And, I wish you a very Beautiful and Harmonious week!...👍😊😊😊
@@smoothibisaxophonesolo You're welcome! You're right, Tenor requires a lot of breath compared to Alto, but despite I am small size, I had an advantage: throughout my adolescence I had chronic bronchitis and quite severe asthma attacks. I think a positive side effect of it was my lunges expanded in order to support the extra effort. Probably my heart did the same, but that's another topic 🤣
