i figured it was at least 70s sexploitation level of OK…this was even worse then again i have always had pebbles rattling around inside…my dad said it’s my brain but my doctor couldn’t find it
@@GoodBadFlicks as far as (foreign) teenage hitchhikers go, you should check out *To Be Twenty.* It is fairly interesting as a capture of late 1970's Italy, but what fascinates me is that there are 2 edits of the film: one for Europe/Italy and one for the US/International market. i would watch the US edit first and _then_ the Italian edit. It is quite an eye opener and an interesting study in how editing can change the "flavor" of a film.
I feel like this is a movie I really need to check out. You know, to learn how to not make a movie about schoolgirls hitchhiking. And totally for that reason.
Yeah that had me rolling. As did "Hobo humping slobo babe" (?) That's a reference only the oldest old men from the 90's are going to lovingly appreciate.
As someone who works in this industry, I love Good bad flicks. The details about the production, the funny commentary & the reviews of long lost low budget films. It's all good!👍
Your commentary for this one had me absolutely cackling. 😅 I also appreciated the note about too much snu snu that was both cute and funny. Great video!
i died when they drove from house to hideout...10 seconds ride😂😂😂.. Cecil you cat, your commentary is Best in Business 🎉🎉🎉 thank you for your effort and tighter schedule lately..
This is the sort of movie that makes some of us feel really ashamed about not having made a movie. Because clearly, anybody can do it. And it doesn't require much thought.
Yasss someone like me who actually knows who t.A.T.u. is! So relieving! All the Things She Said is still a bop! Especially the 2012 Fernando remix, which updates the beat of the song.
@@GoodBadFlicks oh you mean from their Dangerous and Moving album! Cosmos is an amazing song, and there's a killed remix of it on their Best Of album! I like Lena Katina (the red haired one) because she's had a full solo career in English, Spanish, and Russian! She actually just dropped a 5 song EP on all platforms! Look into it :) thanks for the reply! Love your videos! Also I'm 100% american born, but they are the reason I learned Russian as a second language. Some of the original Russian songs that never got translations are amazing. And I agree, to the untrained eye, that movie cover looked almost like them!
The film's title is actually "Jeunes filles impudiques", which should probably translate to something like "Sexually Shameless Girls". I'm not sure what the translator was thinking there.
6:02 I guess they loved wasting gas during the making of this film? 😜😂 Bravo Cecil I have to day you really had a ton of editing to do in this episode in order not to get UA-cam all pissed at you but non the less it was still a very funny episode as always. Also on a side note I've been watching your videos since 2012 you are the very brst at what you do thanks so much for many videos you have done over the year's from "Good Bad Flicks" to"Exploring" to many others thanks for making Monday's a whole lot fun for me and us all😁😁😁😁👍👍👍
Never heard of this gem, but now i must track this down!!! I'm always down for some HLA!!! LMAO, Cecil, you had me laughing my head off, with the Futurama snu snu reference, & the Beavis & Butthead top o' the mountain soundclip!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Was gonna watch ur review but i ended up finding the movie so i'm gonna watch first then watch the review after! Gave you a thumbs up ahead of time as well!
Great job on the review, Cecil. For a minute, I thought the thief was Tom Savini and the dumb detective was Roman Polanski. By the way, it looks like there was a copy of the book Justine in the glove box. Seems appropriate for this film.
Honestly, I don't know how u do it, U don't get enough views or recognition but you stay consistent for years. Do admire it but not sure if this is the right way to approach this soulless world. Hope u get rewared for ur efforts.
I've seen The Demoniacs...I think Rollin's directing style only consisted of four words, most likely shouted at the "actors"..."BERGMAN!!! GODDARD!!!! SARNO!!!! DAMIANO!!!!"
hahahahahahaaa!! i've actually seen this one. . . . BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAAHHA!!! HOBO HUMPIN SLOBO BABE!!!! GOD DAMN IT!! you mf! that threw me into a god damn time warp of laughter!! out of all the years i've been watching, i think that was the joke that finally killed me. y'all go watch that music video as soon as you're done with this. GBF you win the youtubes today.
And it could almost be considered _a second backdoor Beavis and Butthead reference_ given how the video appeared on their show. Layers within layers within layers, it's like we're watching "Inception".
Postsynchronization, that is recording films without sound and dubbing them later, was pretty much standard practice in Europe, as it was infinitely cheaper than attempting to record on set like in Hollywood. In my native Poland it's still occasionally done this way, there are recording studios specializing in providing such services.
I saw this movie ages ago when I on a Jean Rollin kick (love his trashy movies) after getting started with "Requiem for a Vampire." I almost watched it again 2-3 nights ago, but then decided I wanted to watch a western instead (watched "Red Sun"...had no idea Charles Bronson and Toshiro Mifune had done a movie together!), so this upload is a bit spooky!
Aside from the usual “research” of the two lead actresses, I’m gonna need to look up that red hatchback the director drives up in @7:01. Is it a Peugeot or Citroen of some kind?
Good to see some good old fashioned shlock being covered in this channel. Anyone else agrees with me, or think i'm just blowing nothing but hot air? Just feel free to let me know it guys!
Anyone who thought this was going to be a sobering, insightful look at the real dangers of hitchhiking has rocks in their head. Thanks, Cecil!
:)
Wait...it's not??!!

Finding this in the horror section at my local mom and pop rental place as a 12 year old was like finding gold.
Yeah, it makes me miss walking around looking at the VHS array in wonder
Lucky you dude 😎😎😎
That’s one way to kickstart puberty.
The slow drive to the gazebo was amazing XD No cuts, just one continuous, hilarious shot!
Absolute kinography at its finest!

Cinematic knowledge. You must watch what has COME before, in order to advance yourself.
It is on tubi which is free .. if that helps at all
yes..for Science!
@@grbenway God I love tubi. As if I needed another reason to keep watching it. Yet, there it is.
A new Good Bad Flicks every Monday keeps depression away!
Brother, your commentary never fails to deliver. Been watching for years now, always on point. Always.
Thank you for sticking around! Glad to continue to entertain :)
The beavis ans butthead line had me in fits! Great video dude!
Thanks!
Yeah that had me rolling.
As did "Hobo humping slobo babe" (?) That's a reference only the oldest old men from the 90's are going to lovingly appreciate.
Same here.
"the movie opens with two girls..."
I got scared for a second.

School girls and hitch-hiking... Two bad movie ideas that go great together.
3:17 "Ah, the girls DO have a tent!" And so does Fred.
Your commentary for this one had me absolutely cackling. 😅 I also appreciated the note about too much snu snu that was both cute and funny.
Great video!
I wish there had been a car chase from the house to the hideout.
Thank you for reminding me Whale existed with the Hobo-Humpin'-Slobo-Babe crack... have to dig that one out of the vault now.
1:57 I Also a "Don't look at the camera, don't look at the camera ... dangit, I looked at the camera." Such a wonderful way to start the week!

You had me at the hobo humping slobo babe reference thought i was the only other person on earth that knows that song😂
I had completely forgotten it had existed
"Hey, you stole what I stole!!!"
It's true. There is no honor among thieves. 🤣🤣
I had *just* rewatched the Beavis & Butthead clip of them with "Hobo Humpin' Slobo Babe" like... last week. You dropping that floored me :D
"Worse detective in France!" *CHIEF INSPECTOR Clouseau has entered the chat*
That LONG ASS DRIVE SCENE was fucking hilarious! I paused the video and rewound to see it again.
Giving Fred (or French Sonny Bono) Butthead's voice was comedy gold. Genius, I tells ya, genius!
Always a good day when you post!
The actress playing Monica is legit beautiful
Joelle Coeur I think
I'm so grateful that she decided to quit acting and go into porn.
1973?
Oh hell yeah Im gonna watch that!
The getaway to a few trees over ... a single cut would have worked!
Dude a Whale reference? Love it!
School girls should be in SCHOOL! NOT HITCHHIKING
They were on a summer break!
And they should NOT BE HUMPING SUNNY BONO! THE AMERICAN ONE OR ANY OTHER!
The girls do have a tent! And now, so do the guys!
I love the horn section during these 60s and 70s intimate scenes.
I really appreciate the smellscape you painted for us with this one
I do have a way with words. :)
I appreciate the Hobo Humpin' Slobo Babe reference, hadn't even thought of that song in this millennia.
It just felt right ^^
Thank goodness. Little else distracts from the seemingly endless torment. The machine sweeps us along. Scared apes on a rock.
I never expected to see or hear anything from Huniepop in a Good Bad Flicks episode, but if there were ever an appropriate time, this was it.
This is the sort of movie that makes some of us feel really ashamed about not having made a movie. Because clearly, anybody can do it. And it doesn't require much thought.
Great as usual, Cecil!!! Thanx!!!
My pleasure!
I am going to have to give this a watch. I also had to look up Teenage Hitchhikers as well. Something tells me I may be on an FBI list now.
Believe it or not, Teenage Hitchhikers has more "plot" than Schoolgirl Hitchhikers.
5:54 OMG this is amazing.

Man! Haven’t thought about Whale in years!!
The criminals driving three feet from the house to their hideout looked like a bit from a Zucker brothers movie.
I saw this on Tubi last week on a lark. It was exactly what I thought it would be.
The film's title is actually "Jeunes filles impudiques", which should probably translate to something like "Sexually Shameless Girls". I'm not sure what the translator was thinking there.
Lol
5:20 a Whale reference 30 years after its release… still it made me laugh so loud I woke people up
Dang Cecil, you make a Beavis and Butthead reference and a Hobo Humpin Slobo Babe one too? You ARE the man!
Thanks for the Huniepop reference homie!
Yes!
I would have been SHOCKED if a movie called “Schoolgirl Hitchhikers” wasn’t a 70’s/80’s exploitation movie. Fun review and cool movie
