Congratulations on this excellent car. As a fellow VAG vehicle owner, I’d suggest you to be very careful when your service is due. Always take the car yourself to the ASC. Get everything done in front of you. Never avail their pick and drop facility. Get the engine oil changed in front of you. Insist on it even if the service advisors make excuses. Get the gear oil (ATF) changed at 60,000km. Service centres themselves are often clueless about the schedule of components and when they need to be changed. Read the manual carefully before operating the car. Since it has a DSG gearbox, be careful and cautious with its operation. Always slot the gear to Neutral (N) at traffic signals that have more than 20 seconds wait timer remaining. Take necessary precautions and your vehicle ownership will be a pleasant experience. In India Volkswagen group still suffers from poor quality service workmanship. So be extra careful and alert.
