Finally ! a HOT motorcycle with HOT panniers, and this fellow says the capacity of the panniers spoils them. I find most panniers hideously large, just a tool for LONG trips. these panniers are EVERYDAY panniers. Can't split lanes here in Canada, but these sure would ease that job.

Ducati uses its hypermotards base to make a touring bike called hyperstrada. This bike is the same concept from mv augusta, Both bikes looks to be a good choice for cheaper touring bikes.

Hi snippidippy. Hyperstrada is the first thing that came to my mind as well. Hyperstrada is my dream bike, now I have two to dream about ! But cheap....I dunno. I have not looked up prices on either, but there are many 800 cc ish touring bikes for less I'm sure. but they are likely much cheaper than the FJR, ST1300, Beemers, Concours, etc. AND more fun !!

Its the same price on both and i have test riden hypermotard, hyperstrada, mv brutale and the F series and i don't really know who's better then the other. 3L engine is more sporty feeling but the V engine is more powerful.

Actually the mv engine is more powerful than the Duke and sounds soooo much nicer.

fyorbane no it's not! you can't say a v-twin is weaker than a 3-line engine and the sound is much much weaker on mv! i drove the stradale yesterday so....no!
hyperstrada 89nm and stradale 78,5nm and both on 115hp...do the math yourself!
