Thanks Will! Love the review, very thorough. Everything you said in the video is similar feedback to what I have been hearing on my product. I appreciate the review and will make one soon for the Vulp! ✌🏻
Csn u please let nabalis sell the wave on their site?? I wanted to buy both but urs is always sold out, i feel like ALOT of ppl would buy the wave along with the vulp and at the same time bring in more $ on ur end 😁 pretty pleaaaase i know 6 ppl personally that want the wave. That means theres gotta be thousands more that do too
Thats so interesting! The impression I get is that the vulp is targeted towards beginners, whereas the wave assists people in their intermediate stage of flipping where chaplins feel more natural, and in that transition from intermediate to advanced people can sharpen their knife as they got more comfortable
Since this is a new video you will probably pay closer attention to the comments so i'll take advantage of the opportunity to ask, could you do a video main or flips channel about different balances and what other things are better for different tricks, like some balances make fans easier while other balances make rollover tricks easier. Not just balance but just anything that can help with different tricks. Also some suggestions in various price ranges for each type of tricks. Also wanted to say i got a vulp myself and I have picked it over any of my other knives which is not many only the morse and the mako v4.5 but I really enjoy it. Thanks
Good idea I would also love to see a video on this particular subject. It would be very interesting to learn what type of designs help with different type of tricks
Happy Birthday Will! (p.s. The wave really does look nice, but i dont like the blade shape. Something about it feels off. Nice to see higher quality cheaper balisongs.)
unfortunately they had to make the tip thick like that because of knife regulations, with the tip it was too blade like. I think if the tip was able to be sharpened, it would look a lot better
Coming back to this video after quite a while. I ordered this balisong before you uploaded this (and got it before) and it is my primary flipper. One of few that I own. I cant compare it to too many others but I can verify that the chaplins are easy, tricks like behind the eightball feel extra smooth because its smaller on the handles by the top of them, the roundness is great, theres somehow more grip than I ever expected. I got a bad set of bushings, and none of the others could be combined in a way to fix it so there is a decent amount of tap and play. The locktite almost broke my fingers the first time I took it apart. It feels great and for the price I think its really good. Been flipping it a few hours total every day for months at this point
I use wet stones to sharpen like a old Japanese man lol I was waiting for you to try this because when it comes to UA-cam contact you were in my opinion, the most descriptive, and to the point of what’s going on with the flipping of said product generally I’d like to watch you talk about it even if you don’t old one and it’s not a review just you talking about on life specifically is so specific that I know if it fits my flipping preferences ❤love ya will
Sharpening/wet stones are still the best tools for the job. Nothing else gives you more control of your edge then stones. A low grit diamond plate will cut through that steel like buttah :)
Imagine you work at Arbys and some dude with an orange car pulls up in the parking lot takes out a box and sets it on the hood of his car. He then continues to open the box revealing the inside which is filled with knifes.
Thanks Will. Wonderful review. What is your best top 5 Balisong TRAINER for flipping? As in my country, we are not allowed live blade balisong. Looking forward to hear from your answer. Thanks
First off you rip and are amazingly well spoken. Her blade shape could be altered and sharpened but yours is much more aesthetically appealing, like the one you used to open her package. I was gonna say you ripped hers better than yours because you dropped yours... First! Lol! I enjoyed this video very much as you did a great job on it ✌️😎👍
@@natezimmer5254 their instragram post said content will be delayed because: - They got 4000$ robbed - Brandon's car got an ant infestation - 3 pets of them passed away
i've noticed the orange car in previous videos but tohught it was some random car..........how did i not realise it sooner- ofc the orange one is gonna be wills lmao
I had a look at it but with even though its a trainer im afraid it might not pass customs in canada. If anyone from canada orders one let me know haha.
In the US, usually balisongs that have the ability to be sharpened, are considered live blades, even if they're dull, so you wouldn't be allowed to own a "wave" in a state that has outlawed balisongs. I'm not sure if its different in canada tho, I just know thats how it is the US. Hopefully this helps a little!
@@ArtSeaFlips oh really? I thought trainerblades had to have holes in them so that you are unable to sharpen them but maybe that is outdated information idk. Only thing I know for sure is that you can go to prison for up to 3 years for possession of a live bali :/
No offense, but I feel like there was no thought put into a full cohesive design of the Wave. The blade is unorthodox and confusing, also it’s a trainer that you can sharpen?? And the handles don’t seem grippy enough for flipping cause the jimping is super light and there are only a few cutouts at the top. Edit: Grippy enough for a beginner like me. For someone like Will, he’s a pro at flipping.
Not grippy at all compared to actually good balis. It's a really bad knife overall in my opinion, the handles are particularly atrocious. The blade weight is also really rough, you might as well just buy a Vulp which is better in every category

Great idea!!
"Here in the Arbies parking lot it just felt like it matched the vibe" is for sure the best quote of the month

i think it’s unique and I definitely enjoy the look. Everyone has their on opinions though!
I think the blade shape is great. It looks like it puts more weight of the blade towards the tip.
I feel that I’m not the biggest fan of the look but I do love the idea she had with it

I love how available better made balisongs are becoming. I never thought I would be able to get a decent channel bali on bushings but here we are 😂
I’ve honestly been thinking about getting this after the Vulp. It looks very pretty and I really like the concept.
Make up your mind fast, last I heard, she only has 100 left, and currently has no plans of ordering another drop unless there's enough demand.
I enjoy flipping mine a lot

I like the concept she had with the wave but I do kind of wish the blade had a different design. Overall I do think the idea she had was good tho

They should reach out to big flips next. Undisputed champ of beginner Bali song tutorials.
I’ve been waiting for you to do this!
I always thought the wave’s blade kinda looked like the tf2 balisong’s blade lol
I have to pick one up, interested in the thinner taper. 👍

Ok when is Big Flips collabing with Nabalis?
can you do like A vulp vs wave video like on this or on the main and just do like the normal BS score and do a comparison
Vulp wins everywhere
@@just2bad766 thats what i think but for people just getting into it to know what they should get yk
Reminds me of a Rep blade
Just came here for Will at Arby's
I’m a beginner with small ass hands. Even my squiddy feels bulky in my hand. Think the thinner handle here might help me?
Me being being like I want Will to eat a Arby’s classic roast beef sandwich on camera lol.
One day will there be a g10 vulp🤔
man be excited more about sticker than balisong lol
Hope you and Brandon recover soon.
what happned?

Hey! I have had many pass through Canada, I ship in 2 packages
I’m fift!! and beautiful sound dude
pretty cool bali but this would be very illigal in germany because u can sharpen it
I have already shipped to Germany successfully! You dont have to sharpen it, so it would be legal if you dont

Does the wave blade fit on the vulp and can you get one in Canada
Im not sure if it fits, but you can get it in Canada! I have successfully shipped many there
