At the time of recording the video, the information being given was very limited and seemed as if the response was larger than usual for a traffic accident. Since then, police have released a statement saying, "There has been a lot of speculation, and I would like to reassure the local community that this was an isolated incident and there is no risk to the wider public." Had there been such a statement like this much earlier, it may have helped reassure some people. The mainstream media is under much scrutiny of late, and rightly so in my opinion, so I set out to look into this in more detail. No disrespect was meant towards anyone involved and as you will see in the video, I have not mentioned any of the details as seen over social media.

The family of this man are the only people who needed to know the "juicy" details asap, I get that you're probably a conspiracy theory type of person but try spending that energy buying supplements and harassing people via the Alex Jones podcast, don't try to bring normal people into this madness.

What has this got to do with free speech? I live in edinburgh, the city is totally fine. This poor old man fell into the street and his head got caught in the wheel arch of a bus. There’s nothing strange going on, or some conspiracy, or any free speech issues. The pubs were asked to evacuate because it was a nasty bloody accident and they wanted to respect the dead while they do their investigation.
Let's spare a thought for that poor man. Really sad. It's a very narrow road used by some big coaches. Council have previously closed it due to injuries to drunk pedestrians.
Disturbing how some here are so quick just to call it an "accident" when it could be murder if someone shoved him in front of it or the driver knew fine well he was there and deliberately failed to stop?

Some very odd analysis of the situation. We know exactly what happened because it was witnessed and its on CCTV. The Cowgate is one of the busiest streets in Scotland if not the UK at the weekends and this was when its at its most populated. Its lined with bars and clubs and someone stumbling onto the road from a pub into traffic is very common. As was the mans injuries which are consistent with whats been reported. Its also on The Sun, Express and Daily Mail websites so not exactly sure how you get the conclusion its a cover up.

I hear what you say but buses don't travel that fast through the Cowgate, one way his head came off is by a side locker door with the hinge on the top to pop open but it being reported as a single decker the man must have been on his knees, if he walked in front of the bus he'd leave a 'bullseye' dent on the windscreen then possibly go under the bus then possibly crushed. There appears to be a lack of photos of the bus after the incident, usually you'll see the vehicle in situ or a wrecker taking it away, I'm not agreeing with the original poster just saying once again information is being drip fed.
