Where you are Standing at the A449 bridge end" the bridge was taken down back in the mid 1980s" because of HGVs hitting it,, It only Travelled 500yrds where it joined the Main Line to Worcester south and Kidderminster North, I can remember very well Class 37s slowly moving along the line" Taking coal to Stourport Power Station back in 1982, Sadly that has all gone and a Huge Housing estate replaces it, At the Wilden end there are some Track bed that you can walk along to the very last Bridge Support on the Worcester Road at Titton Stourport, There you can at Height see the very spot where the Line would of gone into the Huge Power Station in its day, Great clip you have made on the Line" Well done and All the very best,. 💯👌👍
Thanks bud for sharing all this bet the power station was cool to see in the day I can sort of picture where it was situated I'll have to have another look around stourport at a later date might find more cool stuff around here 😁😁
Thank you , so much interesting stuff around that area imagine if the railway was still there that would be cool . Thank you looking forward for showing next one
I went passed bewdley junction on the train and I saw the remains of the junction where the line used to diverge away from the Severn valley railway And I went to hartlebury station and I saw the remains of the line that used to come out from the left just before the station itself
Thanks mate I very much enjoy showing my (olds) to re-capture memories as my mother now suffers dementia but very much is aware as she grew up around these parts 👍
@@gazthomas9213 amazing to look back nice to share the memories that's a shame tho about that sorry to hear bud but that's good she is aware of this stuff nice memories for her
