The Diablo has the greatest side profile of any supercar. The way the window curvature ends with the vent is just beautiful. Shout Out to Marcello Gandini for providing such a timeless design
That is how I remember my old Diablo , used mine as a daily for 9 years , it made me realise that if You drive fast Your car is too slow ,ha-ha nice video !

The best of the last "real" v12, race inspired, Lamborghini's. People say that the Murcielago SV fits what I just said.... but it doesn't. They never offered the SV with 3 pedals. Case Closed

The Diablo is definitely my favorite Lamborghini. First time seeing one was on Need for speed hot pursuit on ps1. The SV model in yellow

Probably one of my favorite classic super cars of all time along with the McLaren F1 and Ferrari F40. Such a brilliant design

Lamborghini Diablo GT was one of the last analogue supercars. Available was only 5-speed dogleg manual transmission, engine was always naturally aspirated, no turbo or hybrid system, airbags were optional, ABS was available since 1999 and ESP was unvailable. Nineties were paradise times for petrolheads.
The first year the Diablo was out was my favorite version. It was RWD, lighter than all other diablos. The sound of the 5.7 V12 is different than the 6.0 V12.

It wasn’t the best decision I made, but I was so fascinated with the looks, the sounds, literally everything.. my friend said “JUST looking at the back of it, makes you want to get one”.

That IS, simply the nicest engine presentation I’ve seen....
Not the first time we’ve seen painted valve heads....but everything is magnified by the seeming absence of things in/around the engine/bay
This car is a lot more raw and has a lot more soul than modern lambos, truly the poster car of the 90s
Now this is a video I can get behind.. glad you are reverting back to your old ways.
A guy in my neighborhood in Berlin Germany used to own this car when I was a kid. Remember that I could hear it from a distance and always ran out of the house to see it!
He also owned a Miura Jota and some other nice cars!
The greatest ever. I still say the Diablo is the most elegant supercar. The side profile is still unmatched till this day.

That is a crazy car. Seems like a unique V-12 sounds. Has like a 4 cylinder cackle mixed with a straight 6 growl, on camera.
yes you should do more reviews on this type of cars.
This is why I love old school M engines. ITB’s are just great and any Lambo V12 should’ve had them.

I can't believe this cars has 6.0L V12 and only produces 575 hp. But on the other hand, it sounds incredibly insane specialty the excess power sound from the turbo when you release the acceleration around 6-7 rpm. Just Absolut beauty.
No turbo, never have been in the V12 or V10 unless done after market, that's why it was only 575 HP which is a pretty good amount of power naturally aspirated back in the 90's.
No turbo you goof. Brand new V12s naturally aspirated dont make a ton more power than this. Look at a base aventador, not much more power.

They don’t sound like that anymore. Grandfather had a Miura and it sounded like that. Well not as loud. I will never forget the sound of an old Lamborghini or Ferrari V12 or the scream of a turbo 12v71 Detroit diesel.

Right. Diablo was the last Lambo designed during Ferruccio's lifetime. In 1998 Audi owned Lamborghini and revitalized in. If Audi won't bought Lambo, Diablo GT would not existed. They planned model Canto, which prototype carbody was designed by Zagato. But that design (too smooth and oval) don't like Ferdinand Piech and Canto project was scrapped. Final series of Diablo was model 6.0 VT SE, which was premiered in Geneva Motor Show at March 2001. They build only 42 units. They totally build only 2903 units of Lamborghini Diablo all version togeteher.
