When I got back into boxing a few years ago, Decathlon was my first stop - I picked up a load of gear for great prices. Obviously as you get more into it, you realise where you need to spend, but for a casual trainer or a fitness boxer, it is fantastic value. I still use those glove airers regularly, and the hand wraps I got.
I think you nailed the general sentiment of most folk who have never been to Decathlon! When I first shopped there I thought it was cheap gear with quality mimicking "you get what you pay for", but as it turns out it would be better to think of Decathlon as the "IKEA" of sports. They aren't going to replace your Winning/Reyes but honestly their stuff is really good when you want to start a sport and don't want to drop a bomb. I've been using their boxing boots for ~6-8 months and they haven't fallen apart, so they get full marks from me :D
Funnily enough I scrolled past the boots about two days ago and had a look, couldn't find any reviews in English but just wanted to hear what people think, look pretty nice! Also been looking at the box hog 3 and I have the box hog 1 at the moment, would you say they're worth the jump? Because I found them online for about £59 instead of the usual £79 ish

But Box Hog 3s in the black/navy blue like Teofimo Lopez's look lovely, I really like the colour range they have on them.
Thanks man! We also have the decathlon store in my town. I have been in boxing for not too long, it only for my fitness and maybe self defense. I have my boxing gloves and few gears, which was expensive but not that much expensive. If I had known before that some of the gears u brought in this video was really that good in price. Then I think I would have gone there before. But although late, I will make a visit soon. Thanks man.
@Fit2Box First, you were right on about the super stretchy Everlast wraps, they suck. Decathlon sells a boxing glove dryer insert with a fan on the bottom. You can’t get it in the USA. Man, I want one. If you bought one and sold it to me, I would pay you twice what it costs up front + shipping. Do you have an email?
I think organisations like UWCB should offer similar headguards to the Decathlon ones in their contests, for novices and people who don't want to get their noses broken.

Big improvement or no? Man, I can’t get them here and I want a pair! Can you use your influence to make them at least ship to the USA?

Yes fine for beginner bagwork and wrist support surprisingly good for such a low cost glove
