Every time you take us for a ride along in Blue Jay It just takes me back to my youth riding with my dad in a Titan90 Chevrolet with a 318 Detroit 13speed. Leased on to TSMT Back in the day. Many happy memories. Thanks Dane.
My pleasure Carl, I just can’t get enough! 😬👍
Wow...a Titan 90!! How many people know about those, I wonder?? When I was a kid, I couldn't find an Astro 95 model kit anywhere, so I settled for an AMT Titan 90 edition!! 🙂
Hey driver! That's what I call having patience on wheels and with wires in grasshoppa! Have loved all your trucks u had. I've said it before...this is the best channel and my favorite channel of all time! Thanks driver for your hard work 👍 10-4 driver im gone
Thank you for your kind words Fastback, I appreciate your support. 😬👍
Love your old school rides
Thanks for the ride in the GMC!
You bet Russ. 😬
The Astro ride was great! And boy do you have a mess on your hands with that wiring! There was a lot going on with that small little panel.
I kind of like the carpet as well. It fits the era of the truck a bit and matches the browns really well. Cant wait to see grasshopper fire up by the key soon! That will be great! Thanks for sharing the video with us! Have a great week!
You beat me to the punch with the key start lol. You have a good week as well Nicholas. 😬
Hello dane scotts trucker louge☕ thanks for the cool ride in bluejay👍👍
You bet Don, thanks for goin along 😬👍
I'm not a CDL, but it grinds my gears when someone pulls out in front of me and then drives slow.
Yeah, you got that 60's vibe going with Grasshopper's carpet.
I know right? 😡Oh well I e made a few dumb driving decisions in my day too🤷🏼♂️
Glad ya like the retro carpet.
That rug looks cool in Grass hopper!!
O-H-I-O Porters 🇺🇸 Catching up. Riding along in the Astro was quite nice. It took me back a spell to when I drove one for the box company. I used it also to dock trailers for them. Lots of fun! Those little 4 wheelers love to pull right out in front of you. What, no horn blowing?! I expected that. Wiring can surely be a pain to troubleshoot & repair. Thanks for the tip on detailing the wheels. I really liked that. Have a blessed day my friend! 🥰🤩✌️
Hey buddy, yes driving an Astro is ALL fun … at least for us 😬. I should have used the horns yes, I would have felt like “Duel” being right in his bumper. Hope all is well on your end of the Buckeye 😬👍
Awesome up dates on Grasshopper. Blue Jay sounds great as always. You really lucked out with that one.
That’s an understatement! I’ve literally had to do very little mechanically to it. Couple Lines and injectors and pimpin it up. It’s crazy! 😮😬
Dean, getting new gages get new cages. Get a mind to get a new seat by giving another replacement sharing wheelchair that's there and will earn well. I'd like you gonna break it anytime, and you have a drove to truck it either. And it gives you some good stuff. Get the best you deserve it and go blessed dane
Thanks bud, And for watching too!😊👍
Bobtailing in a cabover is M-I-S-E-R-A-B-L-E !!! Ride a whole lot better with a trailer on, even an empty one.
All in good time 😬👍
That Transtar is lookin pretty cool!!
Dane ole Grasshopper is really taking Shape, nice touch with the wheel holes on Pistol Pete, I like the throw rug idea over the doghouse, That Transtar is sharp , as mentioned in the previous video that frame/chassis is unbelievably CLEAN !! As Always Dane Safe Travels to you and all that help contribute to the videos 👍👍👍👍
Thanks David, and that frame is also HUGE! It’s got to be 15” in the middle then tapers down at both ends. Very hefty.
You always come through with an interesting video. A ride down the road is always a pleasure. Roll on Dane....
Thanks Terry and for watching 😬😬
Enjoyed the ride in the Astro.
Two tone roof paint on the Transtar - awsome!
Great ride, thank you. Looking forward to a similar ride in Grasshopper.
You and me both Brutha. 👍
Dane, your wheels are fantastic. Great idea. Great videos too.😊
Thanks Phil 😬👍
I actually really like the "rug" in grasshopper. That looks cool. Nice touch on the peterbilt wheels. I wouldn't have thought I would like that, but it looks awesome.
Awesome DFN, Thankyou for the input AND for watching 😬👍
"L-o-v-e" 💓 your Astro ride-along, Dane...what a view thru that windshield. And the sound..."out of this world" 🌠🌟...they didn't name it "Astro" for no reason!!!👍👍
Yes sir 😬👍
Four Wheeler's sure know how to piss you off I sure don't miss part of the trucking game
Man I love those old Transtar II , my Pops had several over the years. Several were Eagles.
They used to be everywhere for a reason. And the Eagles were just beautiful!
@DaneScottsTRUCKERSLOUNGE My Pops had a Beautiful Transtar II Eagle & GMC ASTRO Royal Classic when he hauled milk tankers for Bristow Trucking in Birmingham Al.
You ARE the critter finder! Loved riding with you and Blue Jay! Went back to my COE Transtar days! And? What did I see next? A Transtar! That little door for adding antifreeze was a big help and could be a bigger problem if it stripped and wouldn't catch. Yours looks like it was just opened up and left that way. Speaking of birds, I couldn't miss those Red Winged Blackbirds singing in the background. They're here too. Bigger harbinger of spring than the Robins. Frost warning for tonight. 67 degrees tomorrow afternoon. So, yeah. Too bad the fuel is questionable in the International. Better safe than sorry. Thanks for the coffee and the reminder I drove for years sitting in a COE. God bless and safe travels!
That’s for sure lol. You know your birds too.😮And my hat is tipped to your years of service!
That model of the Crackerbox sure looks sweet!!
Model?…. I just shrank down CrackJack to make more room. 😂😂😂😂
Great video Mr Scotts grasshopper nice carpet rug inside gives it the classic looks and new gauges Cool see you taking bluejay for a spin let him feel some wind and sunshine lol have a good weekend buddy 10-4 🚚
Thanks Melvin, and you do the same. 😬
@@DaneScottsTRUCKERSLOUNGE your very welcome buddy and thankyou 🙂

Great content and my GM Diesel Service sign looks great in your shop 😁 👍
Thanks Rustyhook, and I have to agree my friend. 😬👍
👍👍👍
Dane nice seeing Blue Jay on the road he looks and sounds great! If you get a chance take Sarge out for a ride too.
You bet I will soon 😬👍
Looks like you need a Mr Wizard for Grasshopper's wiring.. lol😅!!
Absolutely…. And he’s on it.
Hopefully you will get to take Grasshopper for a ride soon....
You know who to blame for the crazy fuel prices!!
Nothing like riding the bouncing bronc after getting spoiled behind the hood :-)
I hear that 😜
Dane great video like the IH 👍
Thank you Dom. Hoping to hear and see it run soon.
Dane the cab over KW's are bobby Rezendes trucks , Yes that was me in dad's astro, In the pic of the marron Kw was my uncle bob Rezendes Sr. I have many more pics if you like .
Sweet … do send … we all love to see the old school pics and memories 😬👍
At least the weather is good enough so you can take Blue Jay,Pistol Pete,Sarge and Mint Chip for a ride....
Ya it depends on the day around here trust me.
the guy in the pickup never watched Duel!!
😂😂😂👍👍👍
we are at $3.90 in St. Mary's PA
Terrible!!! 😡
If the day comes when you DO see “Blue Jay” sold, it’ll be a sad one…above the others you’ve owned, you and that Astro 95 have become synonymous with each other. Grasshopper is coming right along, a metallic green Naugahyde interior from the custom guys out Washington way back in the old days would be the epitome of “cool”, along with a big translucent green glitter steering wheel….
I can’t argue any of your points Buddy 😬👍
I don’t drink coffee 😂 I have a cola addiction lol
What a great time for “recovery” 😂😂
Mr Wizzard s the man when it comes time to wrench, right? Was the old truck stop called Bartones? Back in the late 1970 s one of our owner operators had his Freightliner and covered wagon stolen from there with a load of titanium from Niles,oh. Believe it or not, is was later recovered from the same place with load gone. Bill
Holy smokes! Never heard that. Yes after the “Keystone” it became Bartone’s in the 80s. Mr. Wizard ran the garage and wreckers there.
Would you consider me sending pics of the Big Rig models I have built for Subscribers Rides??
I could take pics of them and email them to you ..
Sure thing.
@@DaneScottsTRUCKERSLOUNGEthanks buddy!!
