Taking EVERY Doordash Order for 12 Hours Straight…

  • Taking every doordash order for 12 hours straight… not my best idea! I do my mileage and my Doordash Hourly Pay Breakdown at the end.
    This doordash challenge involves me doordashing for 12 hours straight, however I have to accept every doordash delivery that comes my way. If you are a doordash driver… I don’t suggest doing this. The high mileage low pay orders really take a hit to your doordash income and although the high doordash pay priority is nice, taking every single doordash order can really take a toll on you and your car. I did have a couple no tip doordash orders that really put a damper on the mood…however some of these doordash no tip orders will surprise you…
    I definitely got lucky in this video, I’ve never had this much luck with #doordash . But if you want to see more doordash challenges…make sure to subscribe - youtube.com/@traveljb?si=dtd8...
    “ Taking every order doordash… good times” - Not My Car
    Unfortunately we can’t live by the no tip no trip motto today because no tip today = I’m accepting it and regretting it every step of the way. So doordash no tippers are loving me today. As I made my way through the video, my door dash acceptance rate passed 50% and I got the doordash priority orders. So join me on this interesting doordash ride along of accepting all doordash orders

    Dashing should come with a health warning at the end of all theirs commercials like they do with medication. "Taking too many orders in a row can result in empty wallets, gas tanks, and can be harmful to your car. If you experience any of these symptoms contact the gov for additional assistance."

    • @sododgy8338

      @AdamGianforte 3 місяці тому

      @@sododgy8338 I suppose you are right that most people already need to own a car to live in the US. But I think it's tragic that we have designed our cities and towns so that car ownership is now considered as critical as clothes and food. People dump an average of $40/day into owning a car just to participate in society. What an insane barrier of entry into ordinary life.

    • @RichardJLawrence
      @RichardJLawrence 3 місяці тому

      @@AdamGianforte most of our cities and towns, especially once you leave the northeast, saw the majority of their development after the car came into existence. It's more or less an extension of American individualism.
      The way I go about it is I live by zero sum budget. In essence, what I earn per hour on average means nothing. I am looking at total earnings for the month. I create a budget for following month and my goal is to meet or exceed that total in earnings. So what I earn in March will be going towards all of April's obligations.

    Congrats on becoming priority again! I am at 47% and I can feel it in my market...I used to get crap in priority every few orders...but now I just get crap...fun stuff. The two "unicorn" deliveries do skew it, but so does the really low tip ones. It all comes down to averages. Not every delivery is going to be a home run and not every delivery is going to be a stinker. What I took out of this video is only taking the "good" orders, limits what you get and you miss out on the higher $ ones when they do come up.
      And I can see both sides to it, just really depends on the goal. What this guy also failed to factor in is income tax, so that profit is actually a bit lower when that is factored in.

      DC i couldnt state it any more succinctly, hence the quotes and that is exactly why i take all offers. i currently have 100% AR & CR, My goal was become a top dasher ASAP so i could schedule and dash at will and plan on maintaining that status until i quit!! The Sn/Au/Pt SAP or SGP program has not been implemented in my area as of yet, but i believe i already qualify as a PTD platinum top dasher, Avg 225 dashes a month so the 100 necessary to qualify is easy peasy to obtain, usually have it done in first 10 days or less, one month i almost knocked it out 7 days usually work 4 days a week 730p to 130-2a depending on the day

    Door Dash needs to get rid of 80% of its Independent Contractors and actually put restrictions on how many could be signed up and on the road. That won't happen though, since they want the cheapest drivers possible so they pick up the low paying orders.
    If they did that, and also charged a lot more per order, it would weed out all the poor or cheap people and only middle class or higher would order. Much less volume, but less people driving and it will be enough to go around. As it is, there is just too many drivers and too many low paying orders that are just mostly being ignored.
    Basically just down size the company and advertise it to households that earn 150k+ a year.

    That’s honestly not bad when you factor in the rest of the benefits. You are your own boss, you aren’t confined to a cubicle or work area, you get to listen to your own music, no annoying co-workers. Sure, the pay might be a little low but I think there are a lot of benefits as well. I am curious if renting a car to Dash would be a viable solution? You could rent a low cost hybrid vehicle for a week and see if that would increase or decrease your earnings.
