Tywin finally getting fed up with his daughter he marries her to Ned not only to get rid of her but also to maybe get a worthy heir from one of their children. I think their marriage would be far better simply because Ned would not cheat on her and actually be a caring husband. It also would be better for Jon not because Cersei would treat him well but because Ned would know how his wife would react to a bastard so instat he gives him to Howland Reed.
