what a load of cobblers. no-one has said no immigration, just target it rather than the seemingly uncontrolled version we have now.
This is a hopeless analysis. Some immigrants contribute and some don't. A UK House of Lords report found that non-European immigration had cost the UK £95 billion over ten years. A more recent Danish report comes to the same conclusions. In the UK unemployment amongst Pakistani and Bangladeshi women is 70% due to the attitudes in those culture towards women working. Unemployment amongst Somali men is 80% and they are over represented in the prison population. Stop talking in terms that every immigrant makes a positive contribution. Many do not.
Vast majority do contribute & whilst you say over 10 years it costs £95 billion (I don't believe this figure at all) jow much is being contributed to the economy? You have failed to add this. Your statistics on Pakistani, Bangladeshi, & Somalis are all false btw

A question never asked in immigration discussions is why many Conservative Muslims move to western countries with very different culture and societal values instead of moving to Muslim or culturally similar countries much closer to where they are fleeing from? UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and others are as rich or richer than US, and EU countries and a lot closer. Another issue is economic migration that even those who find work often send money back to their home country and bring more family members to where they are. The process repeats and less growth and gain occur in the new host country while still using the host country resources and services. Legal immigration through proper channels and proper immigration processes is welcomed by almost everyone in most western countries. Illegal entry into a country or purely economic or criminal reasons on false claims of asylum are what most people are upset about.
In the USA we are politically given only a choice of the two extremes. Democrats give us open borders. Trump advocates mass deportation. With nobody advocating a more middle path. A middle path would be to immediately close our southern border to illegal crossing using a continuous barrier, aided with the best surveillance equipment possible, and a large enough border patrol to apprehend illegal crossers. It would be to require asylum seekers to remain in Mexico until their day in court to plead their asylum case. And, it would be granting a way for people currently here illegally a means to apply for a work visa to stay and work for an agreed upon time in a legal safe manner, all while paying income taxes. There woud be no path to citizenship for thoe crossing the border illegally.
