Hi Allie! I know the majority of your audience are women, but as a male who is new to makeup, I wanted to say that your videos are been a staple go-to source for me. I’ve learned so many helpful tips and I love watching your videos when I’m playing around with my makeup. Even though I don’t really wear a full face and stick to complexion, your videos are just so fun to watch while playing and testing things out. It’s like I’m that little boy who was afraid to play with makeup because it “wasn’t was boys should do” doing makeup with a good girl friend. Xoxo -Alfie
I’m so sorry to hear that you were not allowed to be yourself, but I’m happy that you’re living authentically now❤. Hopefully the world will soon be a kinder place for everyone, a lot of us are putting in the work!
One extra important tip is that almost all beauty channels fail to mention is how important it is to read the ingredients on what foundation you are using! As an adult in her 30’s that still struggles with dermatitis and periodic acne, foundation with perfume and/or high alcohol is horrible for my skin! Also, I agree that laying too much foundation, concealer, and setting powder on acne/bumps/dry/flakey skin can make those problem areas look worse. I wish there were more dermatologist makeup channels. It would be extremely helpful to thousands of people with chronic skin issues!
My dear YOUR SILK gloss is THE BEST I have ever used. I have had 3 rounds of chemotherapy on my lips due to sun damage and 2 things I need always - an opaque lipstick to hid discoloration and scarring AND a lip treatment. Great great job! Thank you so much for this product.
Love this Allie!✨ Natural-looking makeup is the ultimate goal, and these tips make it so easy! Can’t wait to try them out and elevate my routine. Thank you for sharing such game-changing advice! 🙌
I cannot wait to try this! I’m not your target audience but I love learning these new to me techniques. I started wearing makeup in the late 70s and yikes! Definitely need a refresh 😊 thank you ❤
I treated myself to a lot of makeup and skin products at the Sephora sale. I feel like I've been stuck doing the same old thing with the same old makeup. Your videos are helping me have courage to try new looks and products. I loved this video. (I like all your videos)❤😊
Just put in my RB Xmas order! So excited to get the beanie!! Absolutely would have gotten the scrunchies as well if they weren't sold out! Congrats Allie! LOVE the holiday girfts!! I got everything lol!
Thank u sweet Allie! Appreciate all your tips coming from an incredible makeup artist! Your face is so angelic and beautiful! Could u share with me what is on your eyes? Love love love everything about them! Hope u have the best day!😊
Thank you for these great tips. I live in a very humid climate and perspiration is my biggest enemy. I’d love some ideas about how to navigate the weather.
I used to dot foundation all over my face and then one day that suddenly did not work anymore. It would cake up, especially around my nose and it would always look horrible by the end of the day. My skin is a bit dryer than it used to be, and I turned 40 last year, I think that's part of it. But since applying to the back of my hand first my foundation has looked so much nicer. I also started really focusing on hydrating ingredients in my skin care. I had a baby 3 years ago and I had forgone a lot of that self care but I take 20 minutes in the morning and evening to really focus on my skin. It hasn't looked this good maybe ever, because I too have acne prone skin. All of the wonderful Korean skin brightening serums have really helped with hyperpigmentation! I can't believe this but I watched almost all 8 hours of the live on Sunday! I grabbed some of Nikki's brushes because I've had my eye on them for a long while. I'm on a makeup buying pause because we've had some crazy unexpected expenses pop but I want to try some Ravie blush soon! I want to try the not scary berry 😂
Love your how-to videos! I only have 20% vision remaining to me in one eye and I'm terrified of getting everything crooked. So, simplicity is best. I would be very interested in "makeup 101" for beginners (or, in my case, starting over).
Yes, tips are always nice, even if weve heard them before. Its just reinforces that particular tip is reliable. Ive tried so many setting sprays and never was satisfied. Im so oily im verging on considering accutane ( 39 been oily forever and had not one day without acne since i was in 4th grade. Significantly improved since statting tretinoin, but i still have at least 3 blemishes every day) i just bought the new oil sucker from o/s and though ive only used it 3 times, its been a game changer and now can see the benefit of a light mist of setting spray.
Hi Allie! I love your videos. What do you think of putting the foundation on your hand but then dotting it on the face with your fingers? I feel like when I use a brush on my hand and then use the foundation, I have to use a lot more foundation. When I dot it evenly on the face, I seem to use less.
Helpful for sure… my 15 year old would like to dip her toe into a little makeup. She has the most sensitive skin, but it’s beautiful, so I’m worried about her putting anything on. Would love your recommendations on what she could start with💖
I would love an eye version of this. My concealer has been looking dry and crusty lately. I prep and use setting spray but it always looks so makeupey by my crows feet.
Yes thank you. I have changed the way I apply makeup from watching you do it. When you are doing makeup for other people how do you choose the colors you use, say for eyeshadow or blush. I would be interested to know how you go about it.
Allie I watch every video but I can’t remember all the products. What’s a cream highlight that you like? I don’t want a blinding one but some nice glow. For winter I want to try something besides my powders
Hi Allie! Could you recommend a bronzer for fair skin? I have cool/ pink undertones. A lot of the bronzer I've tried both powder and cream all look really orange on me once applied.
I love makeup, but I have never gotten in to the whole foundation thing. I guess I'm a little scared, and haven't had the best experiences with it. I have used a powder foundation as long as I can remember, and most days I feel like that's enough (I have good skin, with just some redness around my nose) But sometimes I would like to get some more coverage. It's just so difficult to find the right shade and to make it look good the whole day, without it breaking up. The best results I've gotten is with the nyx serum concealer, and I use it very sparingly just where I need it
Don’t forget to find a good color match for your complexion. Nothing makes your makeup look more unnatural than foundation that’s too dark, light, or off-tone. Take it from one who has messed this up! 🙃
I'm turning 41 Saturday & I have what I THINK is rosacea on my cheeks chin & nose. I'm primarily dry skin BUT after a couple hrs of wear my face gets EXTREMELY oily. What can I do 2 get maximum coverage but NOT look dry upon application then a few hrs l8r look EXTREMELY oily?? I also struggle w/acne & sensitivity.
Sounds like you could be dehydrated which irritates the skin and overproduces oil. I'd recomment checking out James Welsh channel for more skincare info but if this is the problem, more hydration and repairing the skin should help.

Good tips are always appreciated! 🤠
Super cool new format for me and I like it a lot :)
Yes, more tips please

FINALLY a fair-skinned beauty expert!!!
Great video. ❤❤❤
LOVE YOU ALLIE
Please share more! I’m trying to update my routine to have less makeup and be faster for everyday wear.

Another tip I think so many people forget is to clean your beauty tools!

Thanks so much Allie. Do you feel that skin tints need to go on with a brush too? I find I lose so much product that way.
I would love an eye version of this. My concealer has been looking dry and crusty lately. I prep and use setting spray but it always looks so makeupey by my crows feet.

I learned from nikki la rose to prime the foundation brush i swear my makeup has never looked better doing that its crazy

You could try the Milani baked bronzer in the shade Dolce.
What is your lip color? It's beautiful! Would love to buy it. ❤

I need to know her beautiful lip color in this video!
I love your necklace. Can you tell me where it’s from
Allie, what is on your eyes here, please? I love this type of video where you share experiences. ❤
Hi Allie love your lips in this video! What products have u used? Thanks
Miss you beautiful!
Are you wearing Lilly and Daydream?
What are you wearing in this video? It's such a beautiful face of makeup
Allie, I just tried ordering from your website and the discount code is NOT working. HELP!!

Best makeup channel on YT🥰
❤❤❤❤❤
🥰❤️🥰
❤❤❤😊
I know I may be the minority, but I HATE seeing people apply the serums, etc. directly on the face. It drives me crazy!
Where is the sunscreen in these tips??
Like!
I'm so tired of a little makeup here and there and minimal makeup. I think that's over we need to see good full makeup for ideas
