Here are the titles for anyone to refer back to! 1 being last place of the 10 but they all seem like great reads 🥰 1. Heart Bones - Colleen Hoover 2. Normal People - Sally Rooney 3. Addicted/Calloway Sisters Series - Krista & Becca Ritchie 4. The Cruel Prince - Holly Black 5. The Inheritance Game - Jennifer Lynn Barnes 6. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo & Daisy Jones and the Six - Taylor Jenkins Reid 7. Redeeming Love - Francine Rivers 8. Swear on this life - Renee Carlino 9. Archers Voice - Mia Sheridan
Highly recommend these historical romances set in WW2: "Dragonfly" by Leila Meacham, "The Nightingale" by Kristin Hannah, "The Paris Secret" by Natasha Lester, and "The Room on Rue Amelie" by Kristin Harmel. They are a great starting point for anyone wanting to get into historical fiction, and a 4-5 stars reads for me:)
I feel so validated that you love normal people too! The book is so differently and beautifully written and it’s such an insight into how complex our lives can be.
I’d highly recommend love and other words by Christina Lauren if you haven’t already read it! It’s a book that I still think about 6 months later. It’s so wholesome, sweet and pure and the male love interest is so down to earth and perfect ugh 😍
I would love to see a part 2 of 5 star reads!🤩 Love your videos Rachel, you have inspired me to read more, help my faith in God deeper, and you make me feel happy and calm. I’m going through a really hard time in my life- and I know it cliche- but it’s true; you make my day better. Thankyou for being you😊🥺❤️💐
I can totally relate to finishing school/uni and then getting back into reading cos that was me too! Especially during lockdown, reading was such an escape for me + helped sooooo much with my mental health! Also big yes for part 2 of 5 star reads 👀
I can't say that i've read a lot of books BUT my 'all time' favourite book is 'Malibu Rising' I LOVED the old surfy/LA/odd family/a bit of fame vibes... Followed by 'Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo' (i loved that because to get through stories of 7 husbands plus another love 🤐, it had to be fast paced 👌) ... and now i am making an effort to read all of Taylor Jenkins Reid's book... I am nearly finished reading 'Forever Interrupted' now and it is a 3 star read for me so far but it is great for her first published book AND i will read Daisy Jones next (i was planning on reading it in Feb when i bought it from Ebay BUT i never arrived 👀 so i had to rebuy it... soooo i am hoping that i like it. 😂 💖
@@brittaneenash3275 i read maybe in another life this week! i liked it but it kinda left me unsatisfied. i’m gonna read after i do and forever interrupted next!
@@mtthplc that’s totally understandable! i’m only 200 pages in to after i do, it’s been heartbreaking but i’m bloody loving it so far! the characters just feel so real.
I loved the folk of the air series! I cant wait to make my way through some of your other recommendations, I hope you make a reading group one day. Thank you for your content and sharing :)
Omgggg I absolutely love your channel and I love your top reads ! I’ve been in a slump but this inspired me to read literally all your fav books :) I’m also a Christian and it’s super encouraging to know I’m not the only Christian girl reading romance books 🥰🥰💞💞💞
love this! i've just added a bunch of these to my tbr! the folk of the air series is in my top 10 of all time too as that's the series that got me back into reading!
Thank you so much for this video! The way you speak about your favorites made me want to add them! Also the way you described Taylor Jenkins Reid's books just jumped this up to the top of my tbr! 🥰
Yesss, I absolutely loved Normal People. So many of the sentences were just so profound and meaningful. Probably my favourite book of all time so far! Definitely want to read Redeeming Love, sounds so good :)
Well you can clearly tell how much influence you have on me. I’ve read 7/10 of these books and also loved them. I don’t know if you’ve read any Jodi Picoult books. She’s always been one of my favourite authors. I think my favourite from her is 19 Minutes it’s amazing. You can usually find her books at op shops. I also really love Adam Silvera’s work which I know you read “They Both Die in the End” which isn’t my personal favourite. I loved “History is all you left me” that book is an emotional roller coaster
You HAVE to read Most Of All You by Mia Sheridan. I really, really think it would go up somewhere on this list for you just based off of what you prefer. It is such a beautiful book about two broken characters coming together and helping each other heal.
Have you read 'Me before you' by Jojo Moyes? Wasn't my all time favourite book but I think it's worth a read, you might enjoy it :) Just stumbled upon your channel about a week ago and I can't explain how much your videos have brightened my days! You've also helped me form my list of books I want to read, most of which are your recommendations, and I'm enjoying reading my way through it!!!!
I really enjoyed this video and it's giving me a list of books to listen to which I'm really looking forward to. It was really fun to watch you talk about these books and your love and enthusiasm for them made this this such a nice video to watch. Francine Rivers is one of my favourite authors as well :)
this is my first video of yours but wow we have so many of the same top 10 faves!! I know exactly what you mean about normal people, i always get so scared recommending it to people! I can’t wait to read your faves that I haven’t yet!! ❤️
I love this video and if there's to be a part 2 then bring it on!!! 😄 I tried Colleen Hoover books after seeing you mention her alot and I loved Verity and Layla but was not so keen on Reminders of Him but to be fair I'm a thriller/crime fiction Junkie so I don't think I'm her target audience for her romances! 😄
If you enjoyed Archers voice, I totally recommend The Silent Waters by Brittainy Cherry. Such a beautiful book and I cried ALOT. Its part of the element series but can be read as a stand alone. Its also on kindle unlimited💙
Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah is really good and I think you might like it if you haven’t read it yet. It follows two best friends through out multiple decades of their life and it’s shows how there friendship grows and was tested etc.
Hey Rach! I love your book videos. You have helped me get back into reading and I am loving it! A book I LOVE and really recommend is "The Last Song" by: Nicholas Sparks.
Not sure if I’ve missed this anywhere, but have you read any of the Bridgerton books? Or watched the Netflix show? I don’t know if it’s your vibe but I’d love to know your opinion on the storyline!
All I can say is that I am really really excited about watching this video love you and your amazing channel please stay safe and enjoy your reading love your Australia family friend John xxx my top two are War and Peace ☮️ and Lord of the Rings trilogy ❤️❤️📚📚
Personally I would've found them appropriate for me at 16, I'd read much worse at that age. But I'd definitely reccomend looking up the trigger warnings for each book as some of them cover some tough topics

I agree. I love 19 minutes and the Pact from Jodi Picoult

Out of those I LOVED Normal People and Daisy Jones.
I love heart bones. Epilogue would of been a cherry on top because I didn't want it to end. Such an underrated book 🤍

I've been waiting for this video! I need to get back to reading but I haven't read a book in a few months. Any tips to picking up a book?
Also love your videos!!
Love it ☺️ Just came across your channel for the first time - you should make a Goodreads if you don’t already have one 😃
There’s a poetry book that I fell in love with called Shattered is the Light by William Monkredding

Your #1.. same, same! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Rachel, do you think I can read the Calloway Sisters series without the addicted books? Hurts me to say but I am not the biggest fan of Lo and Lilly 😢
Just purchased Redeeming Love.
the seven husbands, Malibu rising and daisy jones are all classified as historical fiction!
The only Colleen Hoover books I read were It ends with us (I didn't like it at all) and Heart bones (and I love it)
Couldn’t agree more!
Redeeming love does not actually follow Hosea at all 😅
Have you read TJR’s Forever Interrupted? Just read it and…wow, it was so good!!!
I can’t agree more! Read this in January and it has really stuck with me I loved it!!
Rachel!!! Can you do an updated version of this!! 🩷🩷🧞♀️🤍🕊️🫶🏻 just have a feeling a magnolia book or two may be on here
Had to give you a like just for spreading the Word🖤
Heart Bones was my favorite Colleen Hoover book.❤ I just could not get into any of the others.
Redeeming love is so good if you haven't you need to read The Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers it is just as good I promise
Your voice is so soothing
I'm only 17% into 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and i cant get into it!! Someone tell me it gets better, please lmao.
I got verryyy into Verity by CoHo and sad that i finished it. I want more!
Hey Rach! I love your book videos. You have helped me get back into reading and I am loving it! A book I LOVE and really recommend is "The Last Song" by: Nicholas Sparks.
Could you please do a Colleen Hoover ranking/review? 🙂
"that's so fine"
have you ever read where the crawdads sing? I''ve never read it, but I saw it's getting made into a movie and was wondering if it's a good book?
I think it is a really good book but can be hard to read at parts like it feels slow I guess in my opinion but overall I did really like it
Loved it!!!
Sitting here with my notebook 📝
Not sure if I’ve missed this anywhere, but have you read any of the Bridgerton books? Or watched the Netflix show? I don’t know if it’s your vibe but I’d love to know your opinion on the storyline!
heart bones will forever be the best coho book and no one can convince me otherwise 🙅🏽♀️

Where did you purchase Archer's Voice from? Desperate to read it 😅
Yeah I can’t find the physical copy anywhere
what is your good reads?
are there any Taylor Jenkins Reid books that are YA?
Where did you get your copy of 'A Thousand Boy Kisses'?
Do you have a video that talks about ‘It ends with us’ by Colleen Hoover? I would love to see your book review on that book.
Would you recomend CoHo or Taylor Jenkins Reid Books to a 16 year old?
Personally I would've found them appropriate for me at 16, I'd read much worse at that age. But I'd definitely reccomend looking up the trigger warnings for each book as some of them cover some tough topics
@@tazmin5020 thank you for responding
I started reading CoHo at around 14-15, starting with slammed as this is more YA! I think 16 is definitely mature enough for TJR too.
