This was my fav movie it may have been confusing but the whole movie drew you in, everyone liked the first one because of the epic sword fight and the happy ending and seeing captain Jack for the first time but in all reality, every part of this movie was awesome and showed what Jack was actually like
This theme is like Captain Jack Sparrow for one second there is a dramatic and sad moment and then just 1 second later Jack is up to some other shit again... Thats why I love both the captain and this song
Gibbs: Sir, you're...You're in Davy Jones' Locker, Cap'n. Jack: .........I know that. I know where I am. Don't think I don't! Barbossa: Jack Sparrow. Jack: Ah. Hector. Been too long, hasn't it? Barbossa: Aye. Isla de Muerta, remember? Ye shot me. Jack: No I didn't!
At college graduation, I handed my cap to my brother said, "here, Tyler, you may throw it if you like." He did, after which I said, "Now go pick it back up." #Pirate's Life.
This music is making me wet, get it? Because I'm on a ship and ships are in water, so I'm wet because the ship is on the water, haha no Fine I'll keep drinking
Basically you look at the first three movies, they were epic and well-plotted movies that actually had some pretty deep and dark themes to them. Then there’s the fourth one, which is essentially a fun pirate movie where Jack Sparrow just gets to do his thing and interact with Barbossa, who underwent a lot of character development. Then there’s the fifth movie, which is basically just a dumb cartoon that breaks continuity (Tia Dalma’s compass, the fact that Henry has grown completely while Jack, Gibbs, Barbossa and Elizabeth have barely aged). Basically to me, there’s only four Pirates movies, and I love them all.
@@organizationxiii5314 I don't hate it but I'd be remiss to mention how it breaks previously established lore. In DMC, it's said by Tia Dalma that Jack bartered the compass from her but it's also the compass that keeps Salazar inside the Devil's Triangle? The fact Henry has grown up while everyone has remained almost the same, and the fact of Barbossa having a daughter which while not bad on it's own is kinda late in the plot to reveal. There's also the fact that the trident can break the curse on The Dutchman when Calypso herself charged the ship with ferrying the souls of those who died at sea to the afterlife which needs to happen. Also why was Will getting barnacled as if he was transforming? The previous movies established that the reason Jones and the ship looked as they did was because he had neglected his duty and corrupted it's original purpose.
The fourth has moments that make me wish the rest of it lived up to them, like all the scenes in london, and the palm tree escape. it should have been the final movie, there to wrap up jack's story, but instead he has nothing to do and is just there while blackbeard, the spanish, and Barbossa do their own things. But i'm happy it exists for the soundtrack alone.

I feel an interesting plot point was left abandoned. Remember how Beckett noted that Jack was a dying breed and the blank edges of the map were being filled in? It carries into At World's End. The pirates of the world making one last stand and though they did ultimately win the day, it is but a temporary reprieve. The age of piracy is still coming to an end even without Beckett. But that will be Jack's legacy. The last free pirate and a form of immortality if you will. Always chasing that horizon.

@@frogankles1930 the movie is as good of a movie but its the latest in the series and not the introduction so it leaves a bad taste

Should've done that movie in 2 parts unless they make a 6th and it's good, there was no time to build up anything that happened in that movie
