Mahidevran blames Hürrem that she have a miscarriage. The hallways af the harem echoes with shoutings. Gülşah could barely save Hürrem from Mahidevran. Hürrem doesn't look healty at all. Poeple gets Mahidevran away from Hürrem. Sultana finds out what happened between two women in very short time and she ends up in Mahidevran's room. She puts Mahidevran in her place. However, she gets shocked with what Mahidevran says. In the mean time, Hürrem's health gets worse. The kalfas decide to hide what happened to her. Everyone wonders about where Hürrem is. Sultan Süleyman gets very angry that Hungarian King Lajos disrespects him. He sets his route to Belgrade for the campaign. People becomes so happy about the campaign decision. Hürrem gets even worse. Things get complicated when Sultan Süleyman wants to see her.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

It all started with Mahidevran's lie's about Hurrem to Valide........if she wouldn't have poisoned everyone's mind, things could be different.
Well Valide's dislike of Hurrem started when she was told all the things Hurrem boasted to Maria about making Sulieman her slave and how she was going to rule etc.

I’ve read the real history of Ayse valide sultan and she was actually level headed and balanced out the power between Mahidevran & Hurrem in fact the fight shown didn’t occur until she died resulting in Mahidevran and Mustafa being send to the province of Manisa

While I do feel bad for Mahidevran in this episode for losing her baby, she still had no right in blaming Hurrem for the miscarriage and beating her up the way she did. No one really knows the reason why miscarriages happen, sometimes it's just the nature of things. She lost Suleiman all on her own for playing the victim and not getting along with Hurrem.

I'm going back and forth watching episode from the beginning and I'm wondering how could anyone be a fan of Mahidevran. Someone please explain how could you support an evil witch like her. She has been miserable, mean and vindictive since she arrived to Topkapi palace. Suleiman is the Sultan and can do as he pleases, he answers to no one not even his mother who bows to him. As a modern women I know we wouldn't go for such things unless for religious reason; so I don't want to here she didn't want to share her man or that she was hurt. Mahidevran has been in the harem and knows the rules, she chose to bend the rules out of jealousy. I feel like she never truly love the Sultan, she wanted to be his only women because of the power she received and lets stop calling her Haseki, Hurrem Sultan was the first EVER HASEKI SULTAN, Sultan Suleiman created that title for her only!!! Also, I'm not one who thinks everything Hurrem does is okay, she drives me nuts sometimes however, they other Sultanas created this monster and have to deal with her accordingly.

Then Daye Hatun and Nigar Kalfa staged the recovery of Hurrem's ring in the dormitory so that Mahidevran would not be openly accused of stealing it. But Valide Sultan knew. I think Mahidevran was also punished for letting Mustafa think the Palace belonged to him instead of reminding him that his father, Sulaiman is Padishah

This is why I believe Suleiman knows more than he lets on or what the show lets on. He just lets it happen and sometimes either intervenes or vaguely tells that he does know what’s going on. Either that or the writers were just lazy sometimes lol.

The documentary points as main reason the only 60% of the population was hungarian. And question why?! Cause when St Istvan established the Kingdom of Hungary 90% of the population was hungarian! What caused this terible loss of hungarian population?
They point the tatar invasions, then the husita movement in north but the greatest loss was after the called " Mohács disaster" when according historians 90% of the central and southers Kingdom of Hungary hungarian population vanished! By watching this episode again after finishing the whole series, I can realise how Mahi devran runied her relationship with Suleyman. She could easily maintain her haseki position. Instead of that she just destroyed the whole thing.
If i were mahi I would stop fighting with hurram and focus on getting qualified as a king’s mother and the owner of the haram. I’m sure like that suleyman would still want to spend times with her.
