Hello, i've notices that you open the "back slide" on A in the staff, I'm wondering if that's with all instruments? Or is it that your instrument is just not in tune on that note?
Hey Richard! I do use the first valve slide for A and E in the staff, 5th line F, A above the staff (and other notes, too, I’m sure). On most trumpets, these notes are sharp.
