Great comparison video and I enjoyed it and I like encre noire a extreme and I give it a 8.5 out of 10 in my opinion and I'm going to try the other fragrances and have a blessed night
EN extreme got me into fragrances and it has a special places. I always feel like bruce wayne when i wear it. Bentley has caught me by surprise ive had it for years and never really appreciated it. I came back to it after your review and actually it is a vert pleasant wear. It went from being a "pencil shaving" scent to something that says calm, dependable and straight foeward.
Absolutely amazing comparison of three of my most favourite fragrances. These are the only three I wear all Autumn / Winter for my own olfactive pleasure. Indeed very complex scents but very enjoyable. The only one from these three that got me a few compliments from women is Z&V This is Him. The other two are more for one's personal pleasure is what I feel.
Thank you and glad to hear you enjoy these as much as I do. Wasn't surprised to hear that the Z&V got you a few compliments, the dry down is divine on that one.
@@ACSmellsGood Absolutely! The dry down is where the scent becomes really enjoyable and I completely agree on the opening being a bit harsh and synthetic.
Your actually spot on with the Lalique Maceration process - the EN line is well advised- folks DO NOT have a clue what this thing transforms into after maturity. The sport is the weakest and safest of the line of course with the aquatics thrown in for measure - but Ombré Noir, Noir, and Extreme - allow these to breathe for a year or longer what you’ll get is something quite special indeed. A masterpiece after maturity just in their own league the silage, longevity, character, these mature Lalique compositions (like many) require individual videos to capture what is actually going on - my advice - grab all EN lines for pennys and macerate them all in wine cellar 👌😂
i had all the three ones and regret i sold bentley absolute back in 2018 ... glad you mention inflation (so disrespectful to charge sometimes twice as more for the same things) how you see the comparison between Bentley Absolute and Creed Royal Oud and compared to today´s price it´s easily fine to get Bentley Absolute
yeah thank fully they haven't discontinued Bentley Absolute and still can be had for sensible price. I actually don't see much similarity to Royal Oud. Maybe I need to spray them side to side and see.
Hi AC, love your work, buddy. I have gone through most of your videos. I am fairly new to this hobby and my collection. Can you do a review on "Anfar Smoky Wood"? I just bought it, and I will let you know how it is.
Thank you, and going through all my videos is no mean feat so hats off to that :). You know Anfar samples are very difficult to get hold of here in the UK. Also, I had a quick look on ebay and I couldn't even see Smoky wood on there and neither on Fragrantica. I saw retro wood and Ashy wood on ebay but not smoky wood.
On my skin, the bentley projects better than Z&V. Talking about these, perhaps you might enjoy Nuit d'Issey edt and Parfum, which might be the inspiration to This Is Him.
I have Nuit d'Issey Parfum, but performance is very poor. It lingers, but doesn't project at all. It's similar to ZV, but lacks vanilla...All in all, I prefer ZV much more

10/10!!! Wow! Another I'll add to my list...
Definitely worth owning Chris.
Thanks AC🫡, always appreciate your take on things🙏❕️
Thank you for the faith in me :).

Encre Noir A la Exteme is my favorite smoky scent! I should try the other 2.
Nice to know, and yeah, definitely try the other two as well.
Great video. Much appreciated. Near future review of ahmed al maghribi Lathaani.

Bentley for men absolute is a life saver.
