  • Put simply (and things are never that simple), a Delta I with a boot. The same engine as the Delta GT i.e.
But while the Delta GT i.e. was sportier than your average Delta 1.3 or 1.5, the Prisma 1.6 i.e. Symbol was more focused on luxury: there's air conditioning, 4 electric windows, a board computer, rear seats with a central armrest and 2 headrests and tasty velour (alcantara?), even on the headliner!
    Will I buy it?

The days, when cars have character... sadly gone. They were smaller, lighter and without all this useless assistance systems. I keep it in my mind, this time. 🥰
And a beautiful countryside where you driving around. Were is it?

I agree. It's not that there aren't interesting cars today, but there are a lot more regulations and sacrifices have been made to security and comfort. Three decades ago, even a "normal" car could be fun to drive at normal speeds. It had much more to do with the feel and the controls than with sheer speed or efficiency. This is somewhere in Peniche, the Portuguese coast is very pretty.

Brings back memories, had a symbol many years ago and forgot how nice it sounded. Thanks for the upload, for some reason mine had an issue where the rear didn't hold the road as well as I expected, my first Delta was much more stable around the corners. Still a lovely looking saloon and would have another to sit next to my Delta.

Ciao! I'm glad this video reminded you of your Prisma. Has there been any development or is still on jackstands?
The 1.6 i.e. was a surprise, indeed! And it sounded great.

@@oldgold8542 Ciao!

@@oldgold8542 What were they asking? And what website(s) are good for finding used cars in Portugal? Seems like most of it are scams for unrealistically low prices.

It's a bit more than a Delta with a "cola". But even if that wasn't the case, the Delta is a great car.
