Beautiful job on a well-optioned Z! What I don't get are the goofy flares behind the wheel, the trailer hitch and the tinted covers on the headlights. And whats with leaving the engine like that? At least build a stroked block with some valvetrain and headwork. Or put the original 190 hp thing on a shelf and do a LS and tremec swap
Just trying to be different I guess. Ironically, if they came with those behind-the-wheel flares from the factory, they might not all be rusted on the quarter panels there from mud sitting lol.
car outside and interior looks awesome when completed, but why oh why leave the crappy looking engine and engine bay lookin all dirty and rusty like that?? makes no sense. should have pulled it out and put a new LS motor in it, or a big block 502, and beef up the tranny and complete drive train and suspension, wheels tires, etc, and cleaned up everything. maybe they ran outta money. but makes no sense lookin like that. where is this place located anyways?? seems like no advertising or phone number for them. hmmmm
Ya beat me to it. I was gonna say the exact same thing. Half assed doin the exterior and interior and leaving a shitty looking motor and trans. I'm not sure i would have put a 502 in it though. I appreciate them more when they do a factory restore,so keep the engine original but rebuild in n shine it and the engine bay up too. I don't even think they got the bottom of the car at all either. Big time fail on this one. I'm not fond of the color either but if its factory...........
Actually that color is not as cool as my 80 Z28. Along with T-tops, a 350v8 and 4 speed manual it is painted Dark Calet Metallic- A corvette color. A special car in our family. It has a wild ivory/white interior! Best gm car i ever bought. it has 80,000 miles on it, but never hit and zero rust. My son is getting it in my will.
i got a z28 rs t top with the full spoiler kit i never see any with the full spoiler kit were there are spoilers in front and behind all wheels my question is how rare is it hard to find a z28 rs with t top but with the full spoiler kit makes it even harder
I don't believe you have a combined Z-28 RS package, not since the first generation were such available. The rear dams were not stock. 78 had none, 79 front wheels only, and 80-81 had front and rear dams. The spoiler is in the on the trunk lid. I'm assuming you have the 80 or 81...correct?
@@johnchalleen3278 it is all 79 from factory have the option sheet got with another 79 z28 for free from the original owner he said he order it that way

I had a '81 Z28 just like that, same color, gorgeous car
So did I. Huge mastake trading that car.
Going back to the Factory specifications awesome they’re only originally once they are going to be the next collector vehicles for some money
"Wow, nice looking car!" Pops the hood. "Oh, shit."
Nice ride!!
made me thirsty fer sum rootbeer...and ANYTHING involving brown sugar ..coz..DAYUM !

Faithful Servant , I totally agree. Not the usual high quality build I'm used to seeing on this channel.
Faithful Servant I just can't get past BROWN! It's unforgivable, and proves some actually do have a taste for shiite.

Very nice I had a74 camaro that color
That 74 was my first ride, I'd surely love to have another one. They are unique.

That's a TON of money dumped into a slow, brown, 1980 Camaro that is now worth MAYBE $10k.
sarahdelano It’s what HE likes. Nothing else to it.
if it's his dream then worth it
