I LOVE this helmet. That is all.
But honestly this project grew on me and as I started to like this helmet more and more I tried my best to make it better. After some series paint issues and lots of testing I'm very proud to say it's complete.
In this video I'll take you through the steps I followed to create this helmet!

This feels like the perfect project to learn about a metallic finish and I really should have tried something like this before my own Mando helmet build. Beautiful work as always! Can't wait to see the new mystery helmets you are working on

Hi. Great tutorial. Never thought about speeding things up with thick layers as you are sanding anyway.

Hey I am a new subscriber and saw your mandolorian helmet visor tutorial, and was wondering if you could possibly make a tutorial on more complex designs like the ODST visor from Halo or something like the N7 helmet from Mass Effect? I’m brand spanking new to 3D printing and to cosplay in general and really wanted to start a project for cosplay and along the lines of previous questions am also wondering what’s the easiest cosplay to build through and through? I thought Captain Rex or perhaps Mandalorian might be a good starter but I haven’t quite figured out what would be. Thanks a lot Frank your videos are great!

Cool stuff! I don’t know much about Nova but I may have to give this a shot just to practice my sanding and painting skills. On a side note second shelf from the bottom in the detolf on the left, looks like a gold Iron Man bust. Is that 3D printed?

I know this is a big ask but can you make a Winter Soldier Arm? I've seen a ton of people selling them but I'm interested to see how you would handle problems like shoulder fit and elbow articulation.

I mean. At that point you’d have to make the helmet bigger or wear contacts

Great video! Thanks for sharing. I'd like to print a collection of small helmets, shrinking them a lot (for my desk) - but this makes the walls too thin - is there a way to make the walls thicker on a smaller print? (Sorry to ask for help - I've spent many hours now and can't find a way to do it.)
You can just increase the wall thickness in Cura

Have you thought about supplying the files you have modified by sending it to the creator(s)? Just asking for those of us who aren't great with meshmixer or any similar software.
No mainly because it’s a crutch. You should learn how to do this. It’s a very necessary tool to learning how to 3D print. I show and teach I don’t spoon feed. I also have tutorials on using Meshmixer
@@FranklyBuilt I recently started teaching myself how to use meshmixer. I caught on to it pretty quick, but im still not the greatest. As ridiculous as it may seem you're honestly the reason why I got into printing more than I ever have before. Just watching your videos made me want to learn way more than I have in the 7 or so years of 3d printing I've done. Just wanted to say thanks for the great content.
