That you so much for this - it's really quite sweet of you :)
I filmed this video 2 years ago and my card has been replaced twice since then. So there's no information there that can be used :)

Joanna F. Benz If it's the same account the sort code and account number will be the same. But that just means people can pay you, not the other way around 😋

Joanna F. Benz Hey. I also noticed a few moments where you didnt hide your licence plates, but you were doing it throughout the movie.

Joanna F. Benz only a weirdo would think of that . The wind deflector can you tell me the size you're using, please? Does it really work that well? I'm Canadian they are not available here in North America, this is why am asking cause I got to order one from the U.K. Great Video!

I learn so much from you than any other ‘expert’ videos on motorcycle touring.

It's nice to see someone else touring on a 1000RR. I mounted a pair of Yamaha FJR hard bags on mine and that makes a huge difference in packing; keeping everything neat and well organized. On a somewhat longer trip last year I found that the windscreen really needed a bit of an extension. I was going to make one but was really pleased to see yours and that I could just buy one. ( If you google CBR1000RR FJR hard bags you will likely find my bike)

Many thanks for the information, I have only toured on a ZZR 1400 and have bought a S1000RR, hoping to tour Europe with this, so your information for packing helps a lot!

I haven't seen a new vid from you in a while and all of a sudden I see at least three new ones. Yay!!!!!!!!
Oh, your bike needs a bath. But you knew that already. :)

Cool video. That AlpineStars rucksack is a peach! (Be careful of showing your bank card Joanna, someone could probably read the details if they paused the video. Don't mean to preach btw.) Take care lass.🙂

How do you plan staying at hotels with a bike? Ensuring they have a car park that is bike friendly etc?

Was it difficult to use the hydro pack on the move? Do you always leave it in your mouth? I have one I use for hiking and it seems to me I'd need to stop to use it if I was on my bike?

So shame BMW discontinued those nice bags. Btw thank you for sharing. It helps a lot.

I agree. They have however released something similar, it’s probably upgraded in a way too. But I do love mine and if you come across a second one on eBay, I think it’s well worth buying.
Thank you for watching. It’s an absolute pleasure sharing these videos ☺️

Any idea as to why BMW may have discontinued the tail bag? Assuming you still use it, is there anything you see wrong with it by now?

    • @kaleun12
      @kaleun12 6 років тому +1

To anyone wondering the same: i did 10 days in the alps and there is three problems with the bag: its not really rain proof, it moves to the front all the time especially when wet and the clip at the back damages the plastic tail of the bike. Still a nice bag for the money though.

The packing was very well thought out. Except for the slight damage to your windscreen. It's a shame the ASTARS stopped making that back pack. I would have liked to pick one up for myself. Nice job Alpinestars lol......

I would not encourage any R rider to install a bag on the tank. By personal experience, I was uncomfortable. Sometimes, you might have to lean forward

That tyre can take a lot more in the dry, all the way to the edge, and in the wet, I've seen a video of Murtanio doing quite well with his R6: ua-cam.com/video/70aA4iW-Rr8/v-deo.html
