You did great tutorial. Thanks. Anyone please tell me, is this action 4 camera possible to use real estate/ architectural videography and photography? Both interior and exterior needed. Also, will it be possible to image the architectural elements in the houses without distortion?
Try it! I assume the camera is fixed on the motorcycle? It might work with the natural motion blur and without rocksteady. It probably depends on the style you want
Hello Nice review and video For Snorkeling in good conditions, which settings do you recommended? Full auto, or Pro with auto exposure 1/200-1/8000 - auto iso 100/800 with normal color (no Dlog )? Thanks in advance
nice explain video!the horizon balancing croped the image?i have a gimbal and i want to ask if i will get better stabilization if i use the gimbal with the horizon balance on at the camera. The horizon balance downscale the image quality if i use it?i have good motion blur with gimbal and horizon balance on?i need to say that i use nd filters and i follow the 180 shutter rule. Thanks!(sory for the lot of questions...🙂)
Excellent question: Yes, all stabilisation types crop the image, the field of view gets narrower the stronger the stabilisation is. And yes, I think it is save to say that it also decreases the image quality. As far as I know, there is no official statement about the action 4's sensor resolution. However, a raw image (no stabilisation) is 4000x2256, while 4K is 3840x2160. So, stabilized footage will likely be recorded in lower than 4K and then be upscaled. When cycling, do you think rocksteady or rocksteady plus is best? This would be for daytime video. I want to go to 60 fps. Ok to put shutter speed at 200 with these settings?
When watching action 4 or pocket 3 shooted 4k videos on wide screens. ( ie 55" or 65" TVs) does it look burley, law quality or noisy like videos created smart phones?
I realise OA4 was good in low light mode and clear Video exposure rather than OA3 I was a bit dismayed about overheating with OA4 or depends OA3 also overheating but the reality OA4 video quality is good. Any suggestions pls danke nochmal ❤❤❤
Only the shots marked with "Shot on Action 4", and the motion blur/noise examples. The talking is recorded on a Canon R5C with a RF 35mm f1.8. I have one Aputure Amaran light (amzn.to/3XjYb3w) from the top with a 48" light box (similar to amzn.to/3Xhj7IH). Then, a second Amaran with a Snoot (similar to amzn.to/47gNvHy) to add some structure to the background over the picture frames. Then on the left, a Govee floor lamp (similar to amzn.to/3TlR9dp) as rim light. The rim light on the right side is the window. I actually don't like using natural light because it changes all the time, but I had no other option at that place.
@@johannesdoerr Thank you for detailed reply , I am using Aparture Amaran 200ds with 85cm Lantern softbox, and a Amaran COB 60Ds with 90cm Parabolic softbox, planning to add some lights to the background also. Respect for you and you deserve more subscriptions
Probably not the ideal camera for this, but I’d go with no rock-steady and with a tripod, because you will need a longer shutter speed (1/50) to catch enough light and you need to minimize blur from shakes
@@johannesdoerr being in front of the stage this will not be possible with a tripod, I plan to put an osmo dji neck support with my action 4. I do not know if I should film in 1080 or 4k 30 ims. I actually wanted to put the camera stabilizer because maybe it will move next to me lol. I won't have enough time to try the cam this week, so I need easy adjustments from the start. If I put everything on automatic I suppose that won't work? especially with auto exposure, because there is certainly a lot of change in light and brightness. and I don't want the cam to be in focus all the time. It's hard to know what to do
Bonus Tip: Update your firmware! DJI just released a new version that improves image quality for 30fps or lower.

This youtuber is smart
It's really good for timelapse at the construction site, but only if you remember to turn it on!
Very interesting.
Thank you 👍 for sharing.
Thank for the tips.
Please make 5 mint videos of just photography with Dji osmo action 4.
Are you talking about stills? So, no video footage, but photos?
Thanks for the tips!
I have the same tripod for my OA4.
Where i can get the LUT for more dynamic range in 1:40?
Here is the D-Log M to Rec709 conversion lut: www.dji.com/de/downloads/softwares/dji-osmo-action-4-d-log-m-to-rec-709-vivid-lut
good tips!!
Wow…short and good… thanks
What's the best setting when we do motovlog is it best to get the motion blur or just the default?

I have no experience with that... I think I would use log all the time.
thx
Great video, thank you!
what does the image look like with the sun lens thing?

Plans to buy OA4 I returned the OA3 the other day. Which of these two you +n suggest danke
Definitely Action 4 because it has a bigger sensor and DLog. Never had overheating with 3 or 4.
When cycling, do you think rocksteady or rocksteady plus is best? This would be for daytime video. I want to go to 60 fps. Ok to put shutter speed at 200 with these settings?
I would go with rocksteady, plus is for extensive shakes like running I would say. 1/200 👍
Horizon steady is an option, too. Depends a bit on what you want it to look like.

did you used dji osmo action 4 to record this talking overhead video? please also tell which lighting setup did you used.

what settings do you suggest for filming in front of a metal concert scene please?
