Great review! Can you do a quick comparison to the Aer Travel Pack 2 if you've used it? Are there any bags you currently prefer to the Minaal Carry-on 3.0? Do you know which company's or size camera cube would fit best in the Carry-on 3.0 and/or daily 3.0?
I might try the Aer Travel Pack, if they sent me one to review would be nicer haha. For camera cube I'm using Tenba BYOB 9, and it works nice. Currently Minaal is my fav, but I have another video of Peak Design backpack if you wanna see it on my channel.
Very thorough review. Thanks for that as Minaal does not provide much information about the bag's features. I just got mine and I have a question maybe you can answer. On the right shoulder strap there is an extra half of a plastic clip. It seems like something should clip in there, but I can't figure out why it's there or what would attach to it. Do you know? (That's on the carry-on, not the daily.)
Thank you for reviewing both! I asked minaal for the upgrade to the 3.0s to add the secret pocket and they did! Same with opening the carry on all the way for the tech compartment. I’m so excited that’s there now! I wanted to see what else was new because they really didn’t post extensive pictures when the launched it.
@@sergiosala Yes I'm glad that they do and it proves they're company is really good! :) Can you do a packing video with the minaal 3.0's ? Including showing us your tech kit? :)
This is a great review! Much more expansive than Minaal 1.0 or 2.0 I've seen. How did you manage your travel to Mexico? Wasn't the Minaal 3.0 only released a few weeks ago? Just curious how you got there safely during the pandemic. What is it like in Mexico coffeeshops right now?
I like how light the Minal bags are and the look, but I can't get over how complicated it looks to get to things when you just need something quick and/or pack them. If you don't use the garment folder do things slide out easily, and wouldn't it be a pain to close it without that holding your things to that side?
The garment folder is just an accessory, you can well live without it and still keep everything in shape with the other pouches. Just gotta know where to open the bag in order to keep everything flat. Do you get what im saying?
@@sergiosala Yeah, the "know where to open it" is the problem for me. I can recall places where this wouldn't have been very good. As for the accessory; I was just wondering how much you relied on it holding things in place. I think it was just the laptop stand that it was holding though, so I guess it wouldn't be a big deal.
I'm taking my Minaal Daily to the coffee shop in Sayulita as we speak! Let me know if you liked these type of review :)
is this your go-to bag when you travel? so where do you put your drones, cameras, its chargers and towels? or do you also have a luggage?
how do you travel with both bags?

Hey Eric! Is to keep your harness chest hidden, just put the strap of the same right side in the clip like this share.getcloudapp.com/DOuoX6KK

Nice, I love that Minaal actually listen their customers, right? Glad to know you liked the review.

Yes, I will do one at the start of next year explaining every single thing I carry!
@@sergiosala thanks! :)

Great review. Do you think the laptop would get a lot of pressure when the backpack is fully packed?
Not really! the nest device works well
Loved the review! Looks like a great backpack. Enjoy Mexico :)
thanks Tim, glad you liked it
Sympl Weekender Pack review next??
Hi Sergio, excellent video. How much does the backpack weigh with everything?
Not sure really as I've never weight it. But i will try for next flight!
Do you like it more than the peak design travel bag? Which one has more space?
I said in the video. PK design has more space but weights more, so the Carry-on forces me to have less.
@@sergiosala Thanks for your response Sergio!
Love this video, the bag looks so nice!
thanks brother!
Nice review! What light are you using for the blue background (minute 13:11)?
It’s actually the same light I show at 09:02 , it’s the Aputure MC geni.us/aputuremclight

You are right about the stand, didn’t think about that. Worst case scenario it fits in the device nest area
do you have a discount code? thank you
