Interesting stuff! Don't see those semi hermetic compressors used here on that style of equipment, or txv's for that matter, its all hermetics and cap tubes.

Bad coil sensor most likely or bad relay board/shitty solder connections on the defrost relay on the first one
The second one for sure a restriction

I replaced the txv and filter dryer on the second one, haven’t had any issues with the first one since. It’s been a few months.

In my very short term experience anytime I have a restricting txv with a changeable power head, I swap it out with a new one. Then cut the old cap tube on the sensingine bulb. I would say for me like 8 times out of 10 the power head is bad.
